3. READ BEFORE INSTALLATION

  1. The components and wiring should not be installed on or around any moving parts, keep away from ignition parts, fuel lines, en_gine or any hot exhaust.
  2. Speakers should not be installed where they might inhibit safety features on· th·e vehicle such as lights, horn·s, brake levers.
  3. Always test the speakers/ amplifier prior to installation. Conn·ect to the battery and play th·e music at least 3-minute to ensure the product i·s fully functional.
  4. Spla·sh, water .an·d dust resistance are n·ot permanent conditions and resistance mi_ght decrease due to norma.1 wear.
  5. To avoid battery drainin_g, di·sconnect the speaker from the battery if the motorcycle/ A TV is plann·ed non-operation for more than 15 days.
  6. Engine, pipe and wind noise will overpower any speakers once it reach.es certain speeds,. it ts physics and unavoidable.
  7. Plea-se connect to a correct power supply (DC 12V), make sure the power cable is correctly connected to the battery?
  8. Cutting rubber insert may be required for certain bar sizes.

4. INSTALLATION

Amplifier Installation:

This amplifier is not waterproof. It is required to install in a shaded area_ to avoid rains and direct sunlight.

Wiring:

  1. Connect the speakers to @@).

  2. Connect the wired control to CD.

  3. To c,on.nect with. a mp3 audio source, connect the m.p3 player to the @AUX input with the AUX cable.

  4. Plug in the power cord to the® DC power inpu:t and then connect to a 12V battery. (_Positive: Red, Negative: Black)

Amplifier Panel:

  1. Wired Remote Control Input
  2. 3.5mm AUX Input
  3. Left Stereo Channel
  4. Right Stereo Channel
  5. DC 10-16 V Power Input

Mounting the Speakers:

  1. Attach the mounting clamp to the speaker bottom using (4) M3x8 mm screws.
  2. Fill the rubber inserted· then put the other half of the clamp together usin-g (2) M5x25mm screw·s.
    3·) Put the split lock and MS nut at the rear and tighten it.

5. WIRED CONTROL OPERATIONS

1. Power On/off – Long Pres.s Mode Change – Single Click
2. Volume Down – Single Click
3. Volume Up – Single Click
4. Last Song – Single Click
5. Next Song – Single Click .
6. Play/Pause – Sin_gle Click

Search Stations (FM Mode) – Long Press

FM Radio:

1. Pres·s ”Mode” bu.tton to switch the unit in FM mode.
2. Lon_g press ”Play/Pause’·’ button to start auto-scanning.
3. Short press ”Last'” or ”Next'” button to select a ·storaged radio station manually.

Bluetooth:

1. Press ”Mode” button to switch the unit in BT mode (The unit will enter in.to BT mode in default upon, turning on).

2. Enable Bluetooth function on your smartphone.
3. Search for Bluetooth devic.e n·a.med ”GOHAWK” .an·d pair it.

6. TROUBLESHOOTINGS

The unit is not turning on:

1. Make sure the wired control is plugged into the correct jack (There are two 3.5mmjacks, one for Remote one for AUX)

2. Inspect the in line fuse of ·the power cord·, replace it if blow·n.

3. Check if the battery is in good condrtion, th.e unit requi’red  .at lea.st 12V 3A to operate.

Volume is no.t loud enough:

1. C’ompare between speakers to identify if one of them is blown.
2. Adjust the speaker’s direction toward the driver’s position.
3. Turn· on the volume all the way up on BOTH stereo unit AND music device (such as smartphone and mp3 player)
4. Chec.k if your battery has at least 12Vafter startup th.e engine.

Radio is s.tatic or no s.tation is found:

1. Put the mach.ine to a wide open place and try again.
2< Reset the radio stations by long·. -press the ”Play” button .

Mounting clamp does not fit:

We offer a variation of the mounting bracket. Contact us if the included mounting hardware do.es not fit your setup.
