READ BEFORE INSTALLATION

  1. The components and wiring should not be installed on or around any moving parts, keep away from ignition parts, fuel lines, engine or any hot exhaust.
  2. Speakers should not be installed where they might inhibit safety features on the vehicle such as lights, horns, brake levers.
  3. Always test the speakers/amplifier prior to installation. Connect to the battery and play the music at least 3-minute to ensure the product is fully functional.
  4. Splash, water and dust resistance are not permanent conditions and resistance might decrease due to normal wear.
  5. To avoid battery draining, disconnect the speaker from the battery if the motorcycle/ A TV is planned non-operation for more than 15 days.
  6. Engine, pipe and wind noise will overpower any speakers once it reaches certain speeds, it is physics and unavoidable.
  7. Please connect to a correct power supply (DC 12V), make sure the power cable is correctly connected to the battery.
  8. Cutting rubber insert may be required for certain bar sizes.

INSTALLATION

Amplifier Installation
This amplifier is normal to get hot during work. Suggest to install in a shaded area to avoid potential hurt.

Wiring

  1. Connect the speakers to 3 4.
  2. Connect the wired control to 1.
  3. To connect with a mp3 audio source, connect the mp3 player to the 2 AUX input with the AUX cable
  4. To play MP3 files with a USB disk (FAT Format), connect the USB drive to 5 USB Port.
  5. Plug in the power cord to the 6 SAE power input and then connect to a 12V battery. (Positive: Red, Negative: Black)

Mounting the Speakers

  1. Attach the mounting clamp to the speaker bottom using ( 4) M3x8 mm screws.
  2. Fill the rubber inserted and place the M6 nut in the clamp.
  3. Secure the clamp on the handlebar with a M6x25mm screw.

Note : We offer a variation of the mounting bracket. Contact us if the included mounting hardware does not fit your setup.

WIRED CONTROL OPERATIONS

  1. Power On/off – Long Press Mode Change – Single Click
  2. Volume Down – Single Click
  3. Volume Up – Single Click
  4. Last Song – Single Click
  5. Next Song – Single Click
  6. Play/Pause – Single Click
    Search Stations (FM Mode) – Long Press

FM Radio

  1. Press ”Mode” button to switch the unit in FM mode.
  2. Long press ”Play/Pause” button to start auto-scanning.
  3. Short press ”Last” or ”Next” button to select a storage radio station manually.

Bluetooth

  1. Press ”Mode” button to switch the unit in BT mode (The unit will enter into B·T mode in default upon turning on).
  2. Enable Bluetooth function on your smartphone.
  3. Search for Bluetooth device named ”GOHAWK” and pair it.

TROUBLESHOOTING

The unit is not turning on:

  1. Make sure the wired control is plugged into the correct jack (There are two 3.5mmjacks, one for Remote one for AUX)
  2. ln.spect the inline fuse of the power cord, replace it if blown.
  3. Check if the battery is in good condition, the unit required at least 12V SA to operate.

Volume is not loud enough

  1. Compare between speakers to identify if one of them is blown.
  2. Adjust the speaker’s direction toward the driver’s position.
  3. Turn on the volume all the way up on BOTH stereo unit AND music device (such as smartphone and mp3 player)
  4. Check if your battery has at least 12V after startup the engine.

Radio is static or no station is found

  1. Put the machine to a wide open place and try again.
  2. Reset the radio stat.ions by long-press the ”Play” button.

Mounting clamp does not fit
