Create a Workspace
The physical space your printer occupies plays a vital role in its success.
Dust, heat, and direct sunlight can drastically impact your system’s success o
failure.
For best results, set Pro 2 up near your other SprintRay devices for optimal
workflow efficiency. Turn the leveling feet on the bottom of the device to
fine-tune the position of the printer and ensure that it sits level.
Recommended Operating Temperature
WARNING!
Do not place your printer near a mill or other equipment that produces dust.
The inner components of the printer are highly sensitive, and excessive dust
accumulation can impact print quality and accuracy.
Do
• Level surface
• Clean workspace
• Away from other equipment
• Away from windows and sunlight
• Consistent temperature 70-85 F
• Well ventilated area| Don’t
• Uneven surface
• Dusty, dirty workspace
• Near other lab equipment

Connecting Your SprintRay
Pro 2 is designed to be used with an active internet connection. Ordering
designs, sending print jobs, and automatic handoff between devices require a
SprintRay account with an active internet connection.
Advanced security protocols may prevent Pro 2 from connecting to the internet.
Contact your network administrator for assistance.
Wireless Connection
Great for most offices
Awireless connection is recommended for most offices that use normal networking and security protocols. Once you start up your Pro 2, you’ll be prompted to connect to a wireless network by selecting your network name and entering the password.
wireless router is required to establish a wireless connection.
Warm Environment
Great for offices with high security
A wired connection is recommended if your wireless network uses advanced
security protocols or if your Wi-Fi signal is poor. Once you start up Pro 2,
select the LAN option to connect to the internet.
A network switch or router is required to establish a wired connection.
Network Security May Block Connection
Firewalls or antivirus software designed to secure your network may prevent
your computer from finding the printer and connecting to SprintRay Cloud. If
you need help getting connected, work with your network administrator and
SprintRay support.

Resin Tank
The resin tank holds liquid resin during the printing process When you’re not printing, cover the tank with the included lid.
Wear Gloves
Always wear gloves when handling uncured resin
Use the handles
The resin tank is designed with handles on either side. When you handle the
resin tank, only hold it by the handies.
Do
• Use one tank for each resin type
• Keep away from light
• Hold by the handles
• Cover when not using
• Wear gloves while handling| Don’t
• Change the resin type often
• Touch the film or underside

Pour Resin into the Tank
To activate a new resin tank, follow the instructions on the touchscreen to
scan the bottle or select the resin type manually.
Pour resin directly from the bottle into the tank, filling until the resin is
between the “Min’ and ‘Max lines.
Do not overfill.
Check Tank Before Printing
Before each print job, use the included resin squeegee to stir the resin and
check the bottom of the tank for cured resin or other debris. Mix until the
resin is uniform in color.
Mix until the resin is uniform in color.
Replace When Directed
The touchscreen on Pro 2 monitors resin usage and will notify you when it’s
time to replace a resin tank.
Failure to replace your resin tank in a timely manner may cause catastrophic
damage to your printer that may not be covered under the warranty.
For best results, keep an extra tank on Tank hand and don’t switch resin
types.
Optical Panel REPLACEABLE
The Optical Panel is a long-term consumable item that is easy to replace in
your office. You can track its health and usage via the printer touchscreen.
Only replace the Optical Panel when directed by the printer touchscreen or
customer support.
Keep it Clean

The 3D Printing Workflow
This guide provides a general overview of the printing workflow, but the best way to learn is by doing. When you first boot up your printer, you’ll be prompted to complete the first-time print, which will take you through each step in detail.
Add Resin and Stir
Install a resin tank that contains the material you’d like to print with. Make
sure it is filled between the ‘Min’ and ‘Max’ lines in the tank.
Use the provided squeegee to mix the resin and make sure there is no hardened
resin in the tank
Check the Build Platform
Take off the build platform and run the scraper along the surface to remove
any bits of uncured resin. Reinstall the platform and make sure it is locked
into place.
Close the UV Lid
Keep the red hood closed when you’re not directly accessing the build area.
Send Files to Printer
The best way to send print jobs to your Pro 2 is through SprintRay Cloud. You
can build your own jobs with RayWare or directly print designs ordered through
our Cloud Design service Visit account.sprintray.com to see your options.
Once you’ve sent a job, check the printer touchscreen for further
instructions.
Start the Print Job
Use the touchscreen to find or build the print job youd like to run, then
follow the onscreen instructions to complete the final checks Once you start
the print job, the lid will lock and the platform will begin to heat the
resin. You can follow
the progress on the touchscreen.
Remove the Build Platform
When the print job is finished, the build platform will nse up to the
resting position. Turn the knob counter-clockwise to unlock the build
platform, then pull it toward you to remove.
Remove the Printed Part
If you’re printing with supports, you should be able to remove the model from
the build platform by hand. If you’re printing something flat, like a dental
model, use the provided scraper to remove the print.
Clean the Build Platform
Use the scraper to remove any hardened residue left on the build platform,
then spray the surface with IPA and wipe it down with a soft cloth. Make sure
there is no debris
Reinstall the Build Platform
Once it’s clean, slide the build platform over the build arm, then turn the
knob clockwise to lock it into place.
Cover the Resin Tank
If you’re finished printing for the day, secure the included resin tank cover
over the tank to help preserve the life of the resin.
