NOMENCLATURE/FIELD OF APPLICATION
The waist belt is approved for the user, including tools and equipment
weighing up to 140 kg. This device is not suitable for fall protection and
that the waist belt should not be used if there is a foreseeable risk of
hanging up the user or exposure to unwanted tension. When using a positioning
system, the user usually relies on support, so it is necessary to consider
the need to use a backup as a fall arrest system. For safety, it is essential
to use an anchorage point located at or above belt level. With the waist belt,
it is necessary to regularly check the fastening and adjusting elements
during use. Prior to first use, perform a comfort and adjustability test in a
safe place to ensure that the seat harness is the correct size, has
sufficient adjustment, and has an acceptable level of comfort for the intended
use. Warning: for your safety, we recommend that you always take a safe step,
such as the FS800-SP2, to ensure the effects of suspension trauma when using
the FS241 or FS267 series.
