Removal of Speaker from Bayonet Ring

  1. PULL THE METAL LOCK TAB AWAY from the Bayonet Ring before removing the loudspeaker.
  2. With one hand on the ring & one hand on the speaker, TURN COUNTER-CLOCKWISE to release the speaker from the Bayonet Ring.

Speaker Installation

  1. PUSH Rails Inwards and INSERT THE BAYONET RING INTO THE CUT-OUT hole within the ceiling surface
  2. PUSH Tabs AGAINST RAIL through Ceiling Hole and lower them along the Bayonet rails.
  3. Lift Speaker and TWIST CLOCKWISE to LOCK Into Bayonet Ring.

FAQ

  • Q: How do I adjust or remove the Bayonet Zip-Clips?
    A: If the Bayonet Zip-Clips need to be adjusted or removed, depress the metal tabs along the rail and push up.

  • Q: Why is it important to ensure the Lock Tab is properly engaged?
    A: The grille may not sit flush until this Lock is properly engaged, ensuring a secure installation.

REMOVAL OF SPEAKER FROM BAYONET RING

  • OPEN POSITION: PULL THE METAL LOCK TAB AWAY from the Bayonet Ring, before removing loudspeaker from Bayonet Ring.
  • With one hand on the ring & one hand on the speaker, ONE QUARTER TURN COUNTER-CLOCKWISE will release the Speaker from the Bayonet Ring.

SPEAKER INSTALLATION

  1. Push the Zip-Clip™ rails inwards, just enough from the top, so they fit through the ceiling hole opening, then INSERT THE BAYONET RING INTO THE CUT-OUT hole within the ceiling surface.
  2. Reach through and PLACE 2 FINGERS ON THE GROOVES of the Bayonet Zip-ClipTM to pull each Zip-ClipTM down the rail.
  3. PULL DOWN on all 4 Bayonet Zip-ClipsTM to lower them along the Bayonet rails.ORIGIN-D50-8-Director-In-Ceiling-Loud-speaker- \(7\) Note : If the Bayonet Zip-ClipsTM need to be adjusted or removed, depress the metal tabs along the rail and push up.
  4. After connecting wires, insert the Speaker into the Bayonet Ring, with the METAL LOCK TAB LIFTED AWAY FROM THE RING.
  5. TWIST THE SPEAKER 15 O CLOCKWISE, until the indicators on both the Bayonet Ring & the Speaker are aligned.
  6. CLOSED POSITION: To finalize the installation, PUSH THE METAL LOCK TAB TOWARDS the Bayonet Ring.
