Safety Instructions

Intended use
This device is designed to convert acoustic signals into radio signals and transmit them. Any other use or use under other operating conditions is considered to be improper and may result in personal injury or property damage. No liability will be assumed for damage resulting from improper use. This product may be used only by persons with sufficient physical, sensory, and intellectual abilities and having corresponding knowledge and experience. Other persons may use this device only if they are supervised or instructed by a person who is responsible for their safety.

Risk of injury and choking hazard for children!

WARNING: Children can suffocate on packaging material and small parts. Children can injure themselves when handling the product. Never allow children to play with the packaging material and the device. Always store packaging material out of the reach of babies and small children. Always dispose of packaging material properly when it is not in use. Never allow children to use the device without supervision. Keep small parts away from children and make sure that the device does not shed any small parts (such as knobs) that children could play with.

Possible hearing damage due to high volumes on headphones or earphones!
WARNING: The use of headphones or earphones at high volumes or for an extended time may result in permanent hearing impairment. Set the vol-ume of your audio device to a medium value. Do not use headphones or earphones for more than about an hour a day.

Operating location
Never use this product:

  • in direct sunlight
  • in conditions of extreme temperature or humidity
  • in extremely dusty or dirty places
  • in locations where the device may get wet
  • in the vicinity of magnetic fields

General handling

  • To prevent damage, never exert force while operating the device.
  • Never immerse the device in water. Wipe only with a clean and dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners such as benzene, thinners or flammable cleaning agents

Keep the device away from impurities!
Keep the device away from containers with liquid. Should liquid enter the device, this could lead to its destruction or fire. Ensure that no metallic parts enter the device.

Interference with other electrical devices
Using the device near radios or TV sets may cause interference. In that case, increase the distance between the devices.

Notes on radio transmission
This equipment uses a frequency range that is free of charge and registration within the European Union (EU). For more information, please visit www.thomann.de. During operation, make sure that the transmitter and receiver are set to the same channel. Never set more than one transmitter to the same channel. Make sure that no metal objects are located between the transmitter and receiver. Avoid interference by other radio and in-ear systems.

Operating devices

Pairing devices, selecting a channel

  1. Fully charge the device.
  2. Connect the cable of a microphone or an AUX source to the 3.5 mm jack socket (7) of the bodypack.
  3. Press and hold the on/off button (8) on the bodypack for two seconds to switch on the device. The LCD (1) shows “On“.
  4. Simultaneously press the on/off button (7) and [-] on the bodypack to start pairing. Then use [+] or [-] to set the required channel. The status LED flashes quickly and the LCD (1) shows the set channel. Press the on/off button (7) to confirm the channel selection.
  5. To couple the on-ear headphones with the bodypack, press and hold [-] for one second while they are within a range of two meters of each other. The status LEDs on both devices flash quickly. After successful pairing, the status LEDs light up permanently.
  6. Press the on/off button (8) of the bodypack to save your entries and exit the mode. The LCD (1) shows the symbol. Make sure that the transmitter and receiver are always set to the same channel.
  7. Press [+] or [–] on the on-hear headphones to adjust the volume.
  8. Briefly press the on/off button (8) on the bodypack to mute the microphone. The status LED flashes slowly. Press the on/off button (8) again to unmute.

Adding a device

  1. To pair additional on-ear headphones while the device is in use, press and hold [–] on the bodypack for two seconds.

  2. Press and hold [–] on the on-ear headphones for one second.
    The status LEDs on both devices flash quickly. After successful pairing, the status LEDs light up permanently.

  3. Press the on/off button (8) of the bodypack to save your entries and exit the mode. The LCD shows the symbol.

Changing the channel

  1. Simultaneously press and hold [+] and [–] on the bodypack for two seconds.
    The symbol disappears from the LCD (1).

  2. Then use [+] or [-] to set the required channel. The status LED flashes quickly. The change is accepted after approx. one second, and the on-ear headphones automatically switch to the newly set channel. The LCD (1) on the bodypack shows the symbol.

Viewing the battery charge

  1. Simultaneously press and hold [+] and [–] on the on-ear headphones for two seconds. The status LED indicates the current battery charge:

    • Lights up green > 75%
    • Flashes green 50% – 75%
    • Flashes red 25% – 50%
    • Lights up red < 25%
      If the residual charge is less than 25%, the device will operate for a maximum of 30 minutes. Recharge the battery of the on-ear headphones.

Environmentally friendly materials have been chosen for the packaging. These materials can be sent for normal recycling. Ensure that plastic bags, packaging, etc. are disposed of properly. Do not dispose of these materials with your normal household waste, but make sure that they are collected for recycling. Please follow the instructions and markings on the packaging.

This product is subject to the European Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive (WEEE) as amended. Do not dispose of your old device with your normal household waste; instead, deliver it for controlled disposal by an approved waste disposal firm or through your local waste facility. Check the current conditions on www.thomann.de. If your old device contains personal data, delete that data before disposing of it.

Batteries must not be thrown away or burnt, but must instead be disposed of in line with the local regulations on the disposal of hazardous waste. They should be returned to the manufacturer for disposal or recycled elsewhere under your local regulations. Only dispose of lithium batteries when they are empty. Remove lithium batteries from the device before disposal if this is possible without destroying it. Protect used lithium batteries against short circuits, for example by tapping the poles. Dispose of the built-in lithium batteries together with the device. Check for an appropriate collection facility. Dispose of the batteries and rechargeable batteries at relevant collection points or through your local waste facility.
