Safety Instructions

WARNING

  • Read the Safety Instructions and User Manual thoroughly before using this product. All users must fully understand and adhere to t hese instructions.

WARNING

  • The following label/print samples are placed on the product to inform of the lase class for your convenience and safety.
  • Do not stare directly into the beam (red or green light source) or view directly with optical instruments or set up the laser at eye level
  • Do not disassemble the laser tool. There are no user serviceable parts inside.
  • Do not modify the laser in any way. Modifying the tool may result 1n hazardous Laser Radiation Exposure
  • Do not operate the laser around children or allow children to operate the laser. It may result in serious eye injury.
  • An exposure to the beam of a Class 2 laser is considered safe for a maximum of 0.25 seconds. Twinkling eyes will normally provide adequate protection. Exposure to a laser beam for an extended time may be hazardous or do harm to your eyes.

CAUTION

  • Glasses may be supplied in some of the laser tool kits. These are NOT certified safety glasses. These glasses are ONLY used to enhance visibility of beam in brighter environments or at farther distances from laser sou.

Operation Modes

General Operation Notes

  • Push the latch to open the battery cover, insert two new AA batteries, following the polarity (+/-) as indicated on the inner of the compartment.
  • Press or slide power switch to unlocked position to turn the laser tool ON. The laser tool projects one bright green cross line, short press the top button to control the brightness of laser line. Slide the power switch to lock position to turn the tool OFF.
  • Always turn off the tool before installing or replacing the batteries.
  • Remove the batteries from the tool when not using it for extended periods.
  • Do not mix old and new batteries.
    The 2 AA batteries should match each other in brand and type.

Self-leveling Mode

  • Self-leveling is enabled when the laser tool is switched to unlocked position.
  • Under self-leveling mode, laser beam(s) will blink fast if the tool is beyond the self-leveling range (士4°)

Manual Mode

  •  Manual Mode is enabled when the pendulum lock is in its locked position and long press the top button, place the laser tool at various angles to project non-level straight lines.In this mode, the laser lines are projected continuously and will not blink, even if the slope angle exceeds 4°.
  • To turn the laser off, press the top button for 3 seconds until the laser shuts off.

Brightness Adjustment Mode

  • Four brightness levels of the visibility adjustment function enable users to select the line brightness in different light conditions.
  • After power on, the laser line is the brightest, single press the top button to switch the brightness, Extra high-High-Medium-Low.

UserGuide, Maintenance and Care

  • The laser tool is sealed and calibrated at the plant to the accuracies specified.

  • It’s recommended to do an accuracy check before its first use and periodic checks during future use, especially for precise layouts

  • When not in use please power OFF the tool and keep the pendulum locked in its locked position.

  • In Manual Mode, self-leveling is OFF. The accuracy of the beam is not ensured to be level.

  • Do not short any battery terminals or charge alkaline batteries or dispose of batteries in fire. Always dispose of batteries per local code.

  • Do not mix old and new batteries. Replace all of them at the same time with new batteries of the same brand and type

  • Keep batteries out of reach of children.

  • Store the tool in its case when not in use. Remove batteries if the tool will not be used or stored for extended time for several months.

  • Do not store the laser tool in direct sunlight or expose it to high temperatures. The housing and some internal parts are made of plastics and may become deformed at high temperatures.
    Exterior plastic parts may be cleaned with a damp cloth. Although these parts are solvent resistant, NEVER use solvents. Use a soft, dry cloth to remove moisture from the tool before storage.

  • Do not dispose of this product with household waste

  • Please recycle in line with local provisions for the collection and disposal of electrical and electronic waste under the WEEE Directive.

Troubleshooting

  1. Q: The laser line is not projected.
    A: No batteries installed, batteries installed incorrectly or batteries are depleted. Try to install new batteries correctly.

  2. Q: Laser line flickers for alert.
    A: The surface where the tool has been placed is uneven or the tool is out of its automatic self-leveling range. Try to place the tool on a more level surface (within ±4°).

  3. Q: The laser line projection is weak.
    A: Batteries are weak. Try to install new batteries.

  4. Q: The laser line is hard to see.

  5. Q: The tool is too far from the target or the surrounding is too bright.
    Try to move the tool closer to the target and recommend use indoor.

non-professional user. We warrant our laser level(s) against faults in materials and/or workmanship for one year from the date of purchase, provided that:

  • Proof of purchase is produced.
  • Service/repairs have not been attempted by unauthorized persons;
  • The product has been subject to fair wear and tear;
  • The product has not been misused;

Defective products will be repaired or replaced, free of charge or at our discretion, if sent together with proof of purchase to our authorized distributor(s.)

This Warranty does not cover faults caused by accidental damage, unfair wear and tear, and use other than in accordance with the manufacturers’ instructions or repair or alteration of this product not authorized by us.
Repair or replacement under this Warranty does not affect the expiry date of the Warranty.

  • Customer is responsible for the correct use and care of the tool. Moreover customer is completely responsible for periodically checking the accuracy of the laser, and therefore for the calibration of the tool.
