Installation and Connection

Install SIM Card and Battery

  1. After opening the battery cover, insert the metal face downwards and horizontally into the SIM card (with the notch facing towards you) so that the SIM card metal plate and card holder make good contact.
  2. Insert the battery connector provided with the phone into the socket at the bottom right corner of the battery compartment, then place the battery horizontally in the compartment, and finally close the battery cover.

Attention : It is absolutely prohibited to insert or remove the SIM card while it is turned on, otherwise the SIM card may be damaged.

Connect the external power supply
Connect one end of the power supply provided by the phone to the mains, while the other end is connected to the DC power socket at the back of the phone.

Connect the handle
Connect one end of the pop-up wire of the handle equipped with the phone to the interface at the end of the handle, and the other end to the interface on the left side of the phone.

Before turning on or off the phone:
Please ensure that the phone battery is charged or connected to an external power source, and that the SIM card is installed correctly; Press the “On/Off” button again to turn on the machine. The interface with the name of the network operator that appears after the startup ringtone and startup animation is the standby interface. In the standby interface, long press the “On/Off” button and you will see a shutdown animation accompanied by the shutdown bell, and then your phone will be turned off.

Basic Operations

Making a phone call
When making a phone call in standby mode, pick up the receiver or press the hands-free button, and then press the number key to input the number; After entering the number, press the 【Redial/Send】 button to make a phone call.

Answer a phone
When there is an incoming call on the phone, there will be a ringing tone prompt. If the incoming number is already stored in the phone book, the name corresponding to this number will be displayed. Pick up the receiver or press the hands-free button to connect the call. When answering with the earpiece, put the earpiece back in place and perform the hang up operation; When making a hands-free call, press the hands-free button again to hang up.

Handsfree function
Press the【Handsfree】button to directly answer or make a call. Lifting the earpiece will switch to a handheld call, and the call will end and hang up directly. If you need to switch to a ‘hands-free’ call again during a call, you should press the【Handsfree】button before replacing the handle.

Send
After sending the input number on press the【Redial/Send】button to dial this number. When checking the phone book, if you find the number you want to dial, simply press the【Redial/Send】 button.

Redial
On the standby interface, press the 【Redial/Send】button and the phone will directly dial the nearest set of outgoing numbers; After the phone handle or hands-free pick up, press the 【Redial/Send】button, and the phone will directly dial the nearest set of outgoing numbers.

Adjust the call volume
During the call, press ▲ Key to increase call volume; Press ▼ Key to reduce the call volume; There are 6 levels of adjustable volume.

Phone Book
Allow you to save multiple sets of names and phone numbers on your SIM card or phone. Through this menu, you can add, search, delete, and other operations. In standby mode, press the 【Contacts/Back】 key to quickly access the phone book list. In standby mode, press the 【Menu】 key to enter the main menu, select Address Book, press OK to enter the submenu of Address Book, and the cursor will be displayed at the first record in the Address Book. Press any number key or ▲ key to move the cursor to the search location.

Search
Search for the contact record you need to search for, and when the cursor is displayed in the search area, directly enter the desired name or number of the contact person, you can quickly search for the contact person. After finding the corresponding contact record, press the ▼ key to move the cursor to the corresponding record, and press the OK key to enter its subdirectory. You will be able to view details, edit, dial, send text messages, and other operations.

When viewing detailed records, press the OK key to directly enter the editing status. Press the option key in the bottom left corner to perform the following operations:

  • Edit: Edit the record.
  • Delete: Delete the record.
  • Copy: Copy the record from the SIM card to the phone (or from the phone to the SIM card).
  • New: Add a new record.
  • Send message: Send a short message to the phone number.
  • Call: Call the selected record.
  • Delete: deletes the currently selected number.
  • Batch deletion: You can mark and select to delete some or all records from the SIM card or  phone.
  • Copy contacts: Copy all or marked partial records from the SIM card to the phone or copy all or marked partial records from the phone to the SIM card.
  • Other: Speed dial can be set to 2-9; Check the available capacity of the SIM card or this device.

SMS
The phone’s inbox, outbox, draft box, and sent messages can store over 200 SMS messages. The storage capacity in the SIM card depends on the specific situation of the card. The inbox stores all received SMS messages, the outbox stores unsuccessful SMS messages, and the draft box stores unsent but saved messages. If the message has been sent, the saved message is the message that was successfully sent.

In standby mode, press the【Menu】key to enter the main menu, press the [▲, ▼] keys to select SMS, and then press the OK key to enter the SMS menu. Press the [▲, ▼] keys to move the cursor and select any submenu under SMS. The phone can enter the following operations:

Write message
In standby mode, after entering the information service submenu from the menu, press the [▲, ] keys to select “Write Message”, and the cursor will be displayed on the screen. At this time, directly input the text message content (see “9. Introduction to Input Method” for input methods). After inputting, press the【Options】key, and the screen will prompt:

  • Send: Send this short message.
  • Add common phrases: Insert common phrases saved in the phone.
  • Save to Draft Box: You can save the currently edited SMS content to the draft box.
  • Exit: Exit SMS editing mode.

Inbox
After entering the SMS submenu, press the [▲, ▼] keys to select the inbox and confirm. The screen displays a list of received SMS messages. Press the [▲, ▼] keys to select a certain information, and then press the OK key or [Options] keys to enter the options menu. You can perform the following operations on this record:

  • Select: View SMS content.
    • After viewing the text message content, you can perform the following actions:
    • Forward: Forward the short message to others.
    • Delete: Delete the short message.
    • Delete All: Delete all information of the receiving mailbox.
    • Reply: The sender of this message replied to the message.
    • Dialing: Call the sender of the SMS.
    • Add to contact: Add the selected number to the address book or overwrite the original record by adding the selected number to the address book.
    • Delete duplicate numbers: You can delete the information of duplicate numbers.
    • Add to Blacklist: You can add the contacts of this SMS to the blacklist.
    • Delete All: Delete all information from the inbox list.
    • Exit: Exit the inbox menu.
  • Outbox: Store unsuccessful SMS messages in the Outbox. The operation method can refer to the 8-2-2 inbox.
  • Draft Box: Any information that has not been sent but has been saved is saved in the draft box. The operation method can refer to the 8-2-2 inbox.
  • Sent mailbox: Successfully sent SMS is saved in the sent mailbox. The operation method can refer to the 8-2-2 inbox.
  • template: SMS template, you can add a total of 10 SMS templates by yourself.
  • SMS broadcasting: SMS broadcasting can be set.
    • SMS settings:
    • SMS service center: Set the SMS center number.
    • SMS validity period: You can set the SMS validity period to 1 hour, 6 hours, 24 hours, 72 hours, 1 week, and the maximum value.
    • Delivery report: After turning on this function, every time a text message is sent, the phone will receive a delivery report informing of the success or failure of the message sending.
    • Reply Path: You can choose to turn on or off the reply path.
  • SMS capacity: SMS capacity can be queried.

8-3 call logs
In standby mode, press the【Menu】key to enter the main menu, press the [▲, ▼] keys to select call records, and press the OK key to enter the call records menu.

  • Missed calls: Entering Missed calls allows you to view the number and time of the missed call; When there is a missed call, the phone display screen displays a missed call prompt interface.
    After entering the call record menu, the cursor will be displayed at the “missed calls” position.

  • Press the OK key to enter the list of missed calls, press the [▲, ▼] key to select a record, press the [Menu] or OK key to view it, and press the【Options】key to perform the following operations:

    • Details: View the specific information of the selected record.
    • Dialing: dials the missed phone number.
    • Send text message: Send a text message to the missed phone number.
    • Add to contact: Save the missed phone number to the SIM card or phone.
    • Add to blacklist: Save the missed phone number to the blacklist.
    • Delete: delete the missed call number.
    • Clear all records: delete all missed call records.
  • Outgoing number: Entering the dialed number to view the outgoing number and the time when the outgoing call was made; the operation can refer to 8-3-1 Missed calls.

  • Received calls: Enter the received calls to view the received phone number, call time and call duration; operation can refer to 8-3-1 Missed calls.

  • Clear all records: delete all call records.

  • Call time: You can check the call time.

  • Set up
    In standby mode, press the【Menu】key to enter the main menu, press the [▲, ▼] key to select the setting, and press the OK key to enter the setting submenu.

8-4-1 Call settings
In standby mode, press the【Menu】key to enter the main menu, press the [▲, ▼] key to select “ Call Settings”, and then press the OK key to enter the submenu.

  • Voice mail server: It can be set to open or close.
  • Call forwarding: When you can’t answer or don’t want to answer the call, forward the call to another phone number.
  1. Always Forward: Whether the phone will transfer all voice calls to another designated phone. Press the [OK] key to operate according to the interface prompts.
  2. Forward when busy: whether to forward incoming calls to another designated phone or voicemail when the phone is busy. Press the [OK] key to operate according to the interface prompts.
  3. Forward when no answer: Whether the phone will forward the incoming call to another designated phone or voicemail when there is no answer. Press the [OK] key to operate according to the interface prompts.
  4. Forward when unavailable: whether to transfer incoming calls to another specified phone or voicemail when the phone is in a state of no network or shutdown or other unavailable status. Press the [OK] key to operate according to the interface prompts.

Call Waiting : Set to enable or disable call waiting. After starting the call function, when the phone is in a call, if there is another incoming call, the network will prompt the other party to wait, and the phone can choose whether to answer the incoming call.
Call restriction: When you want to restrict calls, you can make corresponding settings.

  1. All outgoing calls: Restrict all outgoing calls.
  2. All incoming calls: Restrict all incoming calls. Same as all call out operations.
  3. Incoming calls while roaming: When the machine is roaming, all incoming calls are restricted.
  4. Outgoing international calls: restrict all international calls.
  5. International long-distance roaming outgoing calls: When the machine is in international roaming, all outgoing calls are restricted, the same as all outgoing calls.
  6. Cancel all: used to cancel the setting of all call restrictions.
  7. Modify password: You need to enter the password every time you execute the call restriction setting, and you can modify it after entering the correct password.

Note: Voicemail, call forwarding, call waiting, and call barring functions need to be supported by network operators. If the phone cannot be set successfully, please contact your network operator..

Phone settings

Time&date: After entering this setting, you can set the phone time, date time display format, and date format.
Language setting: English or Spanish can be set Post dialing delay: Set the delay dial t ime. The default is 4 seconds.
Restore factory settings: Press the [OK] button to restore the original factory settings and restart the phone; the initial password is: 1234

Display

Contrast: Set the display contrast, the default is 5 levels, a total of 7 levels.
Backlight: Set the backlight time, the default is 15 seconds, the longest can be set to 5 minutes.

Security

PIN

  • Lock SIM card: enable or disable the SIM card lock function.
  • Change the SIM card PIN: The default SIM password is provided by your network operator, generally 1234, please change the PIN code in time to avoid illegal use of the SIM card.
  • Note: If the PIN code is entered incorrectly for three consecutive times, the SIM card will be locked. At this time, you need the PUK code to unlock the SIM card. PIN code and PUK code may be
  • provided with your SIM card, if not, please contact your network provider.
  • The default PIN code generally 1234, please change it to your private password as soon as possible.
  • Phone locked: Phone lock can be set.
  • Auto keypad lock:

After setting the screen lock function, when the phone is in an inactive state for 30 seconds, the phone automatically activates screen lock. If you need to operate the phone, you need to enter the correct lock password.
None: Cancel the screen lock function.
Password: Set the screen lock password and enable the screen lock function.

Connections

Network account
Enable data network: Turn on or off mobile data network.

  • Mobile data network roaming: Enable the mobile data network roaming function
  • Network selection: View or select the network connection method, automatically select or manually select.
  • Preferred network type: Set the preferred network mode for the phone. Optional: 4G/3G/Multi mode, Near 3G mode
  • Access Point Name (APN): Display the APN information stored in the SIM. Create or edit APN content.

You can use this menu to check if there are any new software version updates.

8-5 Profile Mode

  • In standby mode, press the 【Menu】 key to enter the main menu, press the [▲, ▼] keys to select “Profile Mode”, and then press the【OK】key to enter the submenu;
  • Ring settings: Caller ringtone and Message ringtone can be set.
  • Adjust volume: Caller ringtone, Message ringtone, Alarm&calendar ringtone, Call volume, Power ringtone, etc. can be set.
  • Ring type: Call alert, message alert, etc. can be set.
  • Other alert rings: Key tone, Battery low alert, Power ringtone, etc. can be set.

8-6 Toolbox
In standby mode, press the【Menu】key to enter the main menu, press the [▲, ▼] keys to select the “Toolbox”, and then press the【OK】key to enter the submenu.

8-6-1 alarm clock

  • Enters the alarm menu, and the phone displays a list of alarms. You can perform the following operations:
  • On/Off: Turn on or off the current alarm clock.
  • Edit: Edit the current alarm content, including time, repetition mode, and ringing tone.
  • New: Create a new alarm clock.
  • Delete: Delete the current alarm clock.
  • Note: When a certain alarm clock time expires, you can choose to turn it off or pause, and choose to pause; After 10 minutes, the alarm clock will ring again; Select Stop to stop this alarm; On the

8-6-2 calendar:
You can view the current date or specify a date.
8-6-3 counters: You can perform simple addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division operations. Introduction to Input Method

You can use the keyboard to input Spanish, English, various symbols and numbers, such as adding or editing records and editing text messages in the phone book. Input methods include uppercase and lowercase English, numbers, and pinyin. When using input methods: Press the # key to switch between input methods, press the direction navigation key, select the text or symbol in the candidate area, and press the 【Menu/ OK】 key to input to the editing area. When an editing action occurs, press the “Contacts/Return” button to clear the text or pinyin in front of the cursor. The ABC/abc input method is a general English input mode where you can input the letters you want by pressing the number keys. FOTA Upgrade Process

  1. Step 1: Insert a SIM card with internet access into the phone, connect the battery or po wer supply, and then turn on the phone.

  2. Step 2: press SET button, and
    Find the 7th Software update item in the settings menu, and then press the confirm butt on.

  3. Step 3: Check if there are any new software packages, and the display screen will display the updated software version as well as the date and time.
    Press the confirm button again to download the new software. after downloading, there will be a prompt indicating whether to install it.
    Press the confirm button to confirm the installation.

  4. Step 4: If no new software package is detected, the display screen will show that this is already the latest software and there is no need to update it.

Body-worn Operation
This device was tested for typical body-worn operations. To comply with RF exposure requirements, a minimum separation distance of 1.0 cm must be maintained between the user’s body and the handset,including the antenna.
