USING INSTRUCTION
- Place mattress inside the vacuum bag: Slip the mattress inside the vacuum bag. Remove all bedding from the mattress and clear your work area of any objects that can potentially damage the Storage Logic Vacuum Bag. Make sure the valve is on the upward-facing side of the bag.
- Seal the bag: To close the bag, slide the zip slider from end-to-end at least 2 times. Pull the zipper tight and straight when sliding. Press down a little harder to ensure the seal is fully locked and no air will leak out.
- Put circular vacuum hose on the valve: Open the plastic cap on the valve and place the open end of the vacuum hose on the centre of the valve. The circular end of the hose should fill the valve. Make sure to place the valve on top of the mattress while vacuum. In case of a thicker mattress, the valve can be in the thickness side.
- Vacuum the mattress: Use any vacuum cleaner you have available at home to compress the mattress. After the vacuum cleaner machine is turned on, the bag will shrink as the air is removed. If you hear the hissing sound, a sticky tape on the hissing part will fix the issue.
- Close valve: When the mattress no longer shows signs of shrinking, the vacuum process is completed. Turn off the vacuum, remove the hose from the valve, and replace the plastic cap on the valve to close the lid on the bag.
- Roll the mattress : Roll your compressed mattress. We recommend rolling the mattress inside plastic sheeting to ensure no bag damage. You can also wrap the packing tape around the roll or use ratchet straps/ropes.
Tips
- Please make sure that the white colour of the zipper is fully inserted into the black colour of the zipper to ensure a full seal.
- Please press the slider with equal force and slide the entire zipper back and forth more than 2 times to ensure the zipper is fully sealed.
- Please pay one more special attention to the two ends of the zipper to ensure fully sealed.
Attention
Do not drag/slide the bag after vacuuming the mattress to avoid damage. To
avoid the danger of suffocation, keep this bag away from infants and children.
