The MatterWiFi RGB+CCT LED Controller is a WiFi-enabled controller designed for RGB+CCT light strips. It features a DC power socket input and provides 5 channels of constant voltage output. The controller supports multi-end management and can be integrated with platforms such as Apple Home, Amazon Alexa, Google Home, and Samsung SmartThings. With the accompanying mobile app, users can remotely control the lights, adjust RGB colors, color temperature, and brightness, set scenes, and create automation. The controller also supports voice control through Apple HomePod, Amazon ECHO, and Google Nest speakers.

The MatterWiFi RGB+CCT LED Controller has a compact design and can be easily installed using the following wiring diagram:

Device Reset
To reset the device and clear previous network connections, repeat the power on and off sequence for 5 consecutive times. The output LED will flash 5 times to indicate that the device is in config mode. Scan the QR code of the product using the mobile app, and the LED will blink 6 times with a breathing effect to confirm a successful connection. It is recommended to connect the device within 15 minutes after clearing the network connection.

Apple Home Network Connection
For first-time use, please reset the device as mentioned above. Ensure that your phone’s Bluetooth is turned on. To connect the device to Apple Home, you need to have a HomePod, Apple TV (tvOS 17.0 or higher), or an iPad (iOS 17.0 or higher) installed as the home hub. These devices will allow you to remotely control HomeKit-enabled accessories and set up automation.

  • Q: What is the range of the controller’s wireless connection?
    A: The controller has a wireless control distance of up to 15 meters in a barrier-free space. However, please refer to the actual test distance before installation.

  • Q: Can I use the controller with a 5GHz WiFi network?
    A: No, the controller only supports 2.4GHz WiFi networks. Please make sure your WiFi router is operating in the 2.4GHz band and not the 5GHz band.

  • Q: Are there any safety certifications for the controller?
    A: Yes, the controller is certified to meet EMC standards (ETSI EN 301 489-1 V2.2.3 and ETSI EN 301 489-17 V3.2.4) and safety standards for radio equipment (EN 62368-1:2020+A11:2020 and ETSI EN 300 328 V2.2.2). It is also CE, EMC, and RED certified.

Note:

  1. A smart speaker needs to be connected for use The smart speaker as a smart home hub is the connection center for multiple smart home devices (Matter-enabled smart home hardware products).
  2. The above distance is measured in a spacious (no obstacle) environment, please refer to the actual test distance before installation.
  3. Please check if the WiFi router net in the 2.4G band, the 5G band is not available, and do not hide your router network.
  4. Please keep the distance between VVM15 devices and router close, and check the VViFi signals.

Note : The user can connect a constant voltage power supply or power adapter as power input.

Device Reset

The controller repeats power on and off for 5 consecutive times, clears the previous network connection, enter config mode, the output LED will flash 5 times, scanning the QR code of the product, and the LED light with breathing blinks 6 times, means a successful connection.
After clearing the network connection, please connect within 15 minutes.

Apple Home network connection

  • For first-time use, please reset the device.
  • Make sure your phone’s Bluetooth is turned on when connecting the device.
  • Requires connection of a HomePod, Apple TV (tvOS 17.0 or higher), or an iPad (iOS 17.0 or higher) needs to be installed as the home hub, used to remotely control HomeKit-enabled accessories or set up automation.

Home APP Connection Steps:

  1. Step 1: Connect the Apple Speaker HomePod and proceed to the next step of setup once the connection is complete.
  2. Step 2: Open the Home APP, click the “+” sign on the top right, and then click “Add Accessories” in the pop-up box.
  3. Step 3: Go to the QR code scanning interface and scan the QR code.
  4. Step 4: Add the device, and click Add to “Apple Family”.
  5. Step 5: Start to connect the device. Prompted Uncertified Accessory, click “Add Anyway”.
  6. Step 6: Connect successfully, and select the location of the fixture. Click “Continue”.
  7. Step 7: Use the name provided or enter a custom name. Click “Continue”.
  8. Step 8: Add successfully, and click “Done”.

Multi-end Management

  • With matter, you can connect your device to the following different smart eco-platforms to realize cross-platform interconnection. Supporting the use of multiple apps to control devices at the same time.
  • Please make sure that the APP and the device are in the same local area network (LAN), and your phone’s iOS system is 17.0 and above, and your Android system is 8.1 and above.

  • Open the Home APP, enter lights control interface,
    Scroll down and click “Turn On Pairing Mode”. Generate setup code (11 digits).

  • Open Alexa App, click “Devices” at the bottom of the menu bar,

    • Click on the “+” in the upper left corner,
    • Select “Add Device” in the pop-up box,
    • Click the Matter icon,
    • Select “TRY NUMERIC COOD INSTEAD”,.
      Enter the 11-digit setup code generated by AppleHome, and follow the prompts to add the device.
