Product Usage Instructions
- Installation Steps:
- Step 1: Remove the cover of the DONGLE port at the bottom of the inverter to prepare for installation.
- Step 2: For the -P version of GWU-WIFI, screw the antenna to the end of the shell.
- Step 3: Plug the GWU-WIFI into the correct port of the inverter ensuring the buckles align on the same side.
- Installation Requirements:
- For Wi-Fi mode, ensure the longest connection distance between the router and the equipment is no more than 100 meters. If there is a wall between the router and the equipment, the longest connection distance should be 20 meters.
- Example: Ensure a 24cm concrete wall does not obstruct the signal path for optimal performance.

RF EXPOSURE WARNING!
- Install and operate the device according to provided instructions.

Installation steps
WARNING: Ensure that all power has been turned off at least 5 minutes before installation.
- Step 1: Remove the cover of the DONGLE port at the bottom of the inverter. Ready to install your GWU-WIFI?
- Step 2: For the -P version of GWU-WIFI, screw the antenna to the end of the shell.
- Step 3: Plug the GWU-WIFI into the correct port of the inverter.
Installation requirements
For Wi-Fi mode, the longest connection distance between the router and the equipment should be no more than 100 meters; if there is a wall between the router and the equipment, the longest connection distance is 20 meters.
Note: When the Wi-Fi signal is weak, please install a Wi-Fi signal booster at the appropriate location.
Wi-Fi Configuration
APP registration
- Step 1: Use your smartphone to scan the following QR code or search for the keyword “gPOWER” in the browser to download the Monitoring APP.
- Step 2: Touch the Setting button at the upper left corner of the gPOWER App to choose a language.
- Step 3: Touch “Create a new account” at the bottom of gPOWER App.
- Step 4: Fill in your registration email, input the Verification code, and enter your password to create the account.
- Note: If the registration fails, please repeat the above steps.
WiFi connection
- Step 1: Click “+” to create your site.
- Step 2: Allow gPOWER to access your system location, fill in the site name (self-defined), and system size (refers to the total PV power of the system; please check the information with the installer) and add device by scanning the code on GWU-WIFI.
- Note: Select Use&Set DST if your country has summertime and wintertime. Choose the following settings according to actual situations.
- Step 3: Enter your WiFi account and password. Start to configure the device network.
- Note: DHCP is enabled by default to distribute IP addresses automatically. 5GHz network is not supported.
Troubleshooting
If the WiFi configuration fails, please check the following table to diagnose and seek solutions.
Local mode
- Use your smartphone to connect the Greenworks WiFi signal (Wifi_ SXXXXXXXXX).
- Then choose Local and type in the password (The initial password is the Registration No.) to access the Local Mode in the gPOWER APP.
Monitoring Connection
- Step 1: Ensure that your computer or laptop is connected to a network.
- Step 2: Open a browser and enter https://access.greenworkspower.com.
- Step 3: Select your display language, then create a new account.
- Step 4: Complete registration, login, add site, and other related operations.
- Step 5: Click the Warranty Manage and add your installation information to get a warranty for your devices.
