Yes, you can use either four or eight Single Stud L-Series Fittings, depending on your needs.
How do I ensure the RailTrax Rail is positioned correctly?
Ensure the lettering on the RailTrax Rail is facing outwards to properly utilize the paracord anchor point.
What is the required torque for the bolts?
The bolts should be torqued to 50 ft/lb.
Parts Included
- (2) RailTrax Rails
- (4) RailTrax Bolts
- (4) or (8) Single Stud L-Series Fittings
INSTALLATION STEPS
- Step 1: Remove the (4) OEM bed bolts utilizing a T55 (Torx 55) drive (see photo 1).
- Step 2: Position each RailTrax Rail between the bed bolt holes. Ensure the lettering is facing outwards to allow the paracord anchor point to be properly utilized (see photo 2).
- Step 3: Install the (4) RailTrax Bolts through each slot on the RailTrax Rails and secure directly to the frame of the vehicle utilizing a TP50 (Torx Plus 50) drive.
- Step 4: Torque each bolt to 50 ft/lb.
- Step 5: Connect/disconnect any L-series tie-down fittings as required to secure your cargo.
