Failure to follow the instructions may cause serious injury to your child and/or the product.
WARNING! The Adaptor is only to be attached on to  Emmaljunga chassis NXT90/NXT60/NXT TWIN.
WARNING! For usage of the car seat you must read the corresponding manual for this car seat. For  usage of the chassis you must read the  corresponding manual for the pram. Safety information that is included in these two manuals should be applied in conjunction with the  information in the Adaptor manual.
WARNING! Never leave your child unattended.
WARNING! Do not let your child play with this product.
WARNING! Always use the restraint system.
WARNING! Any load attached to the handle affects the  stability of the pram/pushchair WARNING! This product is not suitable for running or  skating.
WARNING! Accessories and spare parts which have not been  approved by the manufacturer cannot be used.
WARNING! Never lift the carseat when it is attached to the Adaptor/chassis.
WARNING! Always position the carseat and the Adaptor  so that the child’s feet are facing towards the  pram handle.
WARNING! Never use the product if parts are missing or  broken.
WARNING! Make sure before use that the Adaptor and the  carseat are correctly assembled and that all locks  are locked into position.
WARNING! Never detach the Adaptor from the chassis when  the car seat is secured on it.
WARNING! Follow the instructions of the manufacturer.
WARNING! Do not carry extra children or bags on the stroller  other than what the stroller is intended to carry.
WARNING! Make sure that children stay clear of moving parts if you need to adjust the Adaptor. Otherwise they  are at risk of injury.
WARNING! Keep away from fire.

  • This product is intended for one (1) child from the age of 0 months up to a maximum weight of 13 kg. The product is intended for transportation only.

  • The safeguards and instructions in this manual cannot cover all possible conditions and unforeseeable situations which may occur. It must be understood that common sense, caution and care are factors which cannot be built into this product. These factors must be provided by the person(s) caring for and operating the product.

  • It is IMPORTANT that these instructions are understood by all people who will use the product. Always inform and instruct each person using the product, even if the person will only use it for a short while. If anything is unclear or needs further explanation, please contact your authorised retailer.

  • Do not allow the baby to lie for long periods of time in the car seat. On long walks the baby should always be transported in the pram utilising the fully laid back position.

  • The child’s/children’s safety is your responsibility.

  • Never leave the pram without first engaging the parking device.

  • The parking device should always be engaged whilst placing your child/children into and removing them from the pram.

  • Avoid parking on a hill.

  • Overloading, incorrect usage of the adaptor and use of non-approved accessories may cause injury to your child/children and/or break the pram.

  • Stairs and escalators should be avoided as they may pose an element of risk to your child.

  • Be aware of the risk of open fire and other strong sources of heat, such as electric bar fires, gas fires etc.
    in close proximity to the carrycot.

  • The adaptor must be taken care of, checked and maintained on a regular basis.

  • The pram is only intended for the transportation. Place it without reach from children and never let them play in it or nearby it.

  • When adjusting the and folding and unfolding, no children should be nearby and kept away from moving parts.

  • Use a maximum of one accessory on the pram at any one time e.g. Toddler Roller or car seat adaptor.

  • Always contact your authorised retailer to replace damaged or worn parts on the Adaptor with new spare parts.

  • Follow the care and maintenance instructions.

  • If you need to identify this product there is a sticker showing model name and serial number placed on the product.

  • For car seats used in conjunction with a chassis, this vehicle does not replace a cot or a bed. Should your child need to sleep, then it should be placed in a bed.

Care and maintenance

General care

  • Should the adaptor become wet, dry it promptly. Make sure the adaptor is completely dry before storing.
    Check before use that:

  • All locking devices are functioning properly between the car seat and Adaptor and between the Adaptor and chassis.

  • All rivets, nuts and bolts are firmly tightened and not broken.

  • All plastic parts are not cracked or broken.

  • When in need of servicing with original parts and when other technical issues arise that require a professional decision, always get in touch with the retailer from which your Emmaljunga product was purchased.

Usage of the Adapter

Attaching the car seat adapter on to the chassis

  • Engage the brake
  • Remove the carry-cot or seat-unit in accordance with the pram manual
  • Attach the adaptor onto the chassis by pushing the adapter into the Easy Fix locking mechanism (1).
  • The adapter should be turned so that the plastic ring (2) points towards the handle of the pram.

WARNING!

  • Make sure that the adapter is attached into both locking mechanisms of the chassis.
  • Never lift the carseat when it is assembled onto the chassis.
  • Always engage the brake when you attach the adapter onto the chassis.
  • Click the car seat onto the adapter
  • Hold the car seat by the handle and assemble it onto the adapter (3) so that the foot end of the car seat is facing the handle of the pram.
  • Click in the car seat into the adapter by pressing it straight down into the adapter until you hear a clicking sound. Make sure that the car seat clicks in properly into the adapters two attachment points.
  • Hold the car seat at all times by the carrying handle. Do not release
    your grip until you have secured the car seat into position.

Now the car seat is in place onto the adapter.
WARNING!

  • The foot end on the car seat must always be the same way as the handle of the pram (facing the handle).
    Note that the adapter may only be used with the car seat in an upright position if the baby car seat offers several sitting / lying positions

Remove the car seat from the adapter

  • Engage the brake

  • Press the buttons on the car seat (5) and lift the car seat straight up (6).
    WARNING!

  • Always engage the brake before you attach and detach the car seat.

Release the adapter from the chassis

  • Release the adapter from the chassis by pulling the plastic rings (7) which are located on the outside of the adapter
  • Pull the adapter up from the chassis

IMPORTANT!

  • Before you fold the chassis in accordance with the instructions of the pram manual, you must remove the car seat. You do not need to remove the adaptor before you fold the chassis.

Usage of the Adapter on NXT Twin

  1. Attaching the car seat adapter on to the chassis
    Two sets of adapters are needed to use two car seats.
    Note 2 car seats togther can be tight.
    • Engage the brake
    • Remove the carry-cot or seat-unit in accordance with the pram manual
    • Attach the adaptor onto the chassis by pushing the adapter into the Easy Fix locking mechanism.
    • The adapter should be turned so that the plastic ring points towards the handle of the pram. WARNING
    • Make sure that the adapter is attached into all locking mechanisms of the chassis.
    • Never lift the car seat when it is assembled onto the chassis.
    • Always engage the brake when you attach the adapter onto the chassis.

  2. Click the car seat onto the adapter
    • Hold the car seat by the handle and assemble it onto the adapter (2) so that the foot end of the car seat is facing the handle of the pram.
    • Click in the car seat into the adapter by pressing it straight down into the adapter until you hear a clicking sound. Make sure that the car seat clicks in properly into the adapters two attachment points.
    • Hold the car seat at all times by the carrying handle.
    Do not release your grip until you have secured the car seat into position

  3. The car seat is in place onto the adapter
    WARNING
    • The foot end on the car seat must always be the same way as the handle of the pram (facing the handle). Make sure that the car seat clicks in properly into the adapters two attachment points.
    Maxi Cosi- and Britax adapters may not be combined at the same time.
    Note that the adapter may only be used with the car seat in an upright position if the baby car seat offers several sitting / lying positions

  4. Remove the car seat from the adapter
    • Engage the brake
    • Press the buttons on the car seat and lift the car seat straight up (4).
    WARNING
    • Always engage the brake before you attach and detach the car seat.

  5. Release the adapter from the chassis
    • Release the adapter from the chassis by pulling the plastic rings which are located on the outside of the adapter
    • Pull the adapter up from the chassis.
    IMPORTANT
    Before you fold the chassis in accordance with the instructions of the pram manual, you must remove the car seat. You do not need to remove the adaptor before you fold the chassis.
