Get Started
For Home
- Using included Micro USB cable & USB Wall Charger, fully charge your new Monster Bluetooth Audio Receiver for a minimum of three (3) hours.
- Connect the Bluetooth Audio Receiver to your home stereo or headphones aux port using included 3.5mm Aux Cable. (For audio devices with RCA output, the RCA to 3.5mm Adapter may be used.)
For Car
- Using included Micro USB cable & USB Car Charger, fully charge your new Monster Bluetooth Audio Receiver for a minimum of three (3) hours.
- Connect the Bluetooth Audio Receiver to your car stereo’s aux port using included 3.5mm to 3,5mm Adapter (or the 3.5mm Aux Cable if more length is needed).
Pairing

Enable Bluetooth search mode on your audio device and search for pairing name “MONSTER MBA9-1009″.
When found, select it on your device to pair. -
Once the audio receiver is connected, the LED indicator will slowly flash blue, indicating that the receiver is ready to use.
Play Music
Use the included 3.5mm adapter or aux cable as needed.
Plug the receiver directly into a car or home stereo input aux jack, For
headphone use, plug headphones directly into Bluetooth Audio Receiver.
Press the Multi-Function Button (MFB) to play/pause music.
Activate your Voice Virtual Assistance
Siri or Google
Press and hold the Multifunction Button (MFB) for 3 seconds to activate, then
speak through receiver when prompted.
“Hey Siri” or “OK Google”
Experience voice control via your smartphone’s “always listening” feature and
avoid manually pressing MFB to activate your virtual assistant, Just activate
your “Hey Siri” or Google “Voice Match” feature (per your smartphone’s
instructions) and speak directly
to your phone, then through the receiver.
Multi Device Pairing
This feature will allow two devices to be connected simultaneously, allowing both individuals to separately control their music and/or use hands free talking, Pair the first device as noted in the “Get Started” section, then “disconnect” (while still paired) and pair the second device. Once a second device is paired, you can then re=connect the first device.
Hands-free Talking
The Bluetooth audio receiver will automatically switch to phone mode when
receiving calls and will switch back to music mode when call is complete.
Press MFB to answer and end calls.
Double press MFB for last number redial.
Press MFB for 3 seconds to reject an incoming call.
