INSTALL BATTERY

  1. Open battery compartment by unscrewing rear cap.
  2. Insert battery (CR123) following correct polarity.
  3. Close battery compartment by screwing rear cap all the way to assure O-ring is properly compressed.

ADJUSTING PICA TINNY RAILS

The helmet mounted illuminator is equipped with an adjustable MILSTD-1913 Picatinny rail QD grabber.

To adjust the QD grabber:

  1. Set lock lever to open position.
  2. Turn adjustment nut.
  3. Test fit on helmet Picatinny rail.

INSTALLING ON HELMET

  1. Set lock lever to open position.
  2. Install the illuminator on desired helmet Picatinny rail.
  3. Close lock lever.

POWERING ON THE ILLUMINATION

  1. Push the button at rear of the unit to power ON.
  2. Push the button at rear of the unit to power OFF.

NOTE: LOW POWER WARNING

The light will blink when seen through night vision; that is the low power warning and the battery must be replaced.

MAINTENANCE

  1. 1050nm is completely invisible to the naked eye.
    If power status of the product can not be determined, unscrew the tail cap half a turn or take out the battery before storage to prevent accidental activation.

  2. Periodically inspect the O-ring of the battery compartment for wear and tear. Change with new one if necessary, to retain water-resistance rating.

  3. To prevent damage to the battery or the product, remove battery for long-term storage.

  4. To maintain light’s top performance, periodic cleaning of the battery contacts is recommended.
