BEFORE INSTALLATION
- All modifications must be installed by qualified personnel and in compliance with your local modification regulations.
- Keep all stock hardware in case they need to be reused in later installation.
- This lift kit gives a 4″ lift in the front and rear end. It gives you more clearance for bigger tires. Please note that exact lift amount will depend on model and spring rate.
KIT CONTENTS
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
- Remove all the plastic components from the front section of the Polaris vehicle to get access to the front struts.
- Position a jack beneath the Polaris and elevate it until both front and rear wheels are suspended in the air. Next, remove the front wheels.
- First, loosen the strut top nut and carefully remove the strut from the vehicle. Use a specialized tool, like a spring compressor, to safely disassemble the strut and remove the old spring. Then, insert a spring spacer into the strut bottom before carefully reassembling the strut and placing the spring back into its original position. Next, attach the top spacer provided to the strut and reinstall the strut assembly onto the Polaris using factory hardware. Repeat this process on the opposite side. Finally, install the plastics on.
INSTRUCTIONS-REAR
- Remove the rear tires. Loosen and remove the bottom and top bolts and nuts of the rear shock.
- Remove the rear strut from the Polaris vehicle and disassemble it with a spring compressor. Take out the existing spring from the strut and insert the spring spacer into the strut shaft provided. Re-assemble the strut and attach one small and one big shock extension brackets to the factory strut mount. Firstly, place the big bracket inside the factory bracket and then put the small bracket outside of the factory bracket. Secure both brackets using the provided nuts and bolts tightly. Next, mount the strut bottom to the extension bracket utilizing the factory hardware and tighten it to the required specification. Finally, repeat the process on the other side of the vehicle.
- Follow the illustration provided and loosen the long bolt. Follow the illustration provided and loosen the long bolt. Add the spacer provided and reposition the longer bolt 3/8-16UNC95-30. Connect the rod to the bracket by utilizing the bolt 3/8-16UNC95-30 given. Ensure to tighten to specifications. Repeat the same process on the opposite side.
- Put the rear tires on. Remove the jack and lower the bike onto the ground.
MAINTENANCE
- Highly suggest drivers inspect the nuts and bolts for tightness regularly.
- An alignment by a certified alignment professional with experience in aligning lifted vehicles must be performed.
