Product Information
The MINERAL PURIFIER by Spadepot.com is a device designed to help maintain the water balance in your spa or hot tub. It is used in conjunction with the manufacturer’s instructions for spa start-up and water balance guidelines.

Product Usage Instructions
- Follow the manufacturer’s instructions for spa start-up. Ensure that your spa or hot tub is prepared and ready for use.
- Refer to the water balance guidelines provided in the user manual or chart.
- Adjust the Total Alkalinity of your spa water according to the specified range in the chart.
- Adjust the Calcium Hardness of your spa water according to the specified range in the chart.
- Adjust the Total Dissolved Solids of your spa water according to the specified range in the chart.
By following these instructions and maintaining proper water balance using the MINERAL PURIFIER, you can ensure a clean and enjoyable spa experience.

- To be used in conjunction with a low bromine or low chlorine support and ozone if desired.
Spa Start Up
- Always drain and refill spa every 3-4 months.
- Clean or replace filter cartridge when dirty (Follow manufacturers instructions).
- Balance water according to the chart.
- Shock spa to remove all contaminants. (Follow manufacturers directions.).
Installing SPA FROG®

Set reminder dial on SPA FROG® to 4 months from month of installation.
Turn dial with a coin. -
Place SPA FROG® in one of the following locations in spa:

Majority of Spas – Insert SPA FROG® inside filter cartridge core (Diagram A).
Do not allow SPA FROG® to sit too low in the filter. If blocking water flow install in filter well (Diagram B). If SPA FROG® is inside a standpipe, attach a string to the FROG® head handle for easy removal. -
High Flow Spas – On skimmer filters with 2.5 HP or larger pump motors, place SPA FROG® outside the filter cartridge (Diagram B).

Small Cartridge or Other Spas – Place SPA FROG® in skimmer basket (Diagram C).
If unit is too tall, cut rod at hash marks to shorten.

Regular Spa Care
- Run filtration system a minimum of four hours per day.
- Regularly test water for pH, total alkalinity and chlorine or bromine levels.
- Maintain a .5-1 ppm chlorine or 1-2 ppm bromine level at all times.
- Shock the spa with a chlorine or non-chlorine shock once a week or if water looks hazy.
- Remember to replace SPA FROG® and to drain and refill the spa every four months.
