Rear Panel Functional Description
-
Single-ended connector (RCA)
Connect a single-ended audio input to the amplifier, please make sure the left and right channel is connected correctly. -
Balanced connector (XLR)
Connect a balanced audio input to the amplifier, please make sure the left and right channel is connected correctly. -
LINE/PRE Input
LINE: Line Input. Please pull the toggle switch outward and turn to LINE. Once Line Input chosen the volume of the amplifier is controlled by the Volume Control and therefore before switch please turn the volume to its minimum.
PRE: Pre Input. Please pull the toggle switch outward and turn to PRE. Once PRE chosen the volume will be controlled by the Preamplifier connected and the Volume Control of the iHA-8 will not work. -
FUSE
If in case you need to change the fuse, please resort to replacement fuse with the same specification with the original. -
Power input connector: AC Inlet.
Note: Please make sure the AC Voltage of the Amplifier matches with your local power supply voltage. Incorrect input voltage will cause damage to the machine or might even lead to serious household accident, Cayin reserves the right to refuse service or responsibility on related instances.
Setup
-
Connect to power source
Verify that the AC input voltage of the Amplifier is the same as your local power supply voltage before you connect the power source. -
Connect to Audio Source
Connect your audio source to the amplifier by an appropriate audio cable . You can choose either RCA or XLR input according to the connection facilitated by your audio source equipment (Select-able from the “ Source” button on the front panel). You can connect both RCA and XLR if desired.
Use audio signal cable (RCA or XLR cable) to connect the Analog Input of the Amplifier to the Analog Output of your Audio Source equipment (DAC or CD player, etc.). Then you can easily set up a high quality audio system as shown in the diagram below: -
Connect to Headphones
1. Single-ended Headphones
