SAFETY GUIDELINES
ALWAYS READ THE T-MOBILE WI-FI MESH ACCESS POINT QUICK START GUIDE BEFORE SET
UP OR USE OF THE ACCESS POINT. IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO FAMILIARIZE
YOURSELF WITH THE USER GUIDES AND WARNINGS, AND TO USE THE ACCESS POINT
PROPERLY.
Warning – Risk of electric shock or fire
Connect the power adapter or cord to the right supply voltage (120V AC in
USA).
Use the power adapter provided with your Wi-Fi Mesh Access Point and do not
fasten the power cable to building surfaces. Ensure the cable can move freely.
Do not place heavy objects on the cable.
Do not touch the Access Point or its power adapter or cord with wet hands.
Do not open or try to open the Access Point. Opening or removing covers can
expose you to dangerous high voltage points or other risks.
Pay attention to the power load of the electrical outlet and possible
extension cord. An overburdened power outlet or damaged cords and plugs may
cause electric shock or fire.
Check the power adapter regularly. If you find any damage, replace the adapter
immediately.
Do not connect the plug into an extension cord, receptacle, or other outlet
unless the plug can be fully inserted with no part of the blades exposed.
Leave adequate space for heat dissipation to avoid any damage caused by
overheating the Access Point. Do not cover the Access Point or its ventilation
holes. Blocking the ventilation holes may cause fire.
Do not use the Access Point outside, and make sure all the connections are
indoors.
Do not install, use, or service this Access Point during a thunderstorm. There
is a remote risk of electric shock from lightning.
The standby power consumption of the Access Point is 3W.
Caution – Potential equipment damage
Follow these recommendations to protect yourself and the Access Point from
harm:
Use the Access Point only in upright position as shown in the Quick Start
Guide.
Do not insert any sharp object into the openings of the Access Point.
Do not put the Access Point near a heat source. Avoid placing the Access Point
in direct sunlight.
Do not put the Access Point in damp or wet locations; for example, near a
bathtub, washbowl, kitchen sink or laundry tub, in a wet basement, or near a
swimming pool.
Do not spill any liquid on the Access Point .
Do not place the Access Point on an unstable surface or support.
Do not place anything on top of the Access Point.
Do not use liquid or aerosol cleaners; unplug the Access Point and use a soft,
dry cloth for cleaning.
When connecting a PC or other electronic device to the Access Point, make sure
you use the right cables and connect the device to the right port of the
Access Point. Incorrect connections may damage the device and/or the Access
Point.
Do not attempt to access, manipulate, insert foreign objects into,
remanufacture, or immerse or otherwise expose it to water. Do apply care to
avoid accidental drops along with the Access Point.
Users and other individuals must maintain a distance of at least 21 cm between
themselves and the Access Point to minimize exposure to radiation. The Access
Point contains components that emit an electromagnetic field and could
interfere with pacemakers or other electronic medical devices. If you have a
pacemaker or other implantable or personal medical device, please consult your
physician or medical device manufacture about the required minimum safe
distance between the Access Point and your medical device.
If the Access Point malfunctions or fails to perform as expected, stop using
it immediately.
The Access Point is for indoor and domestic use only.
ENVIRONMENTAL AND REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS
Any changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible
for compliance of the Wi-Fi Mesh Access Point voids the user’s authority to
operate this Access Point.
This Access Point complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject
to the following conditions:
- This Access Point may not cause harmful interference.
- his Access Point must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation.
This Access Point has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. This Access Point generates, uses and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation. If the Access Point does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the Access Point off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures
- Reorient or relocate the Access Point and/or the receiving antenna of the device experiencing interference.
- Increase the separation between the Access Point and/or the device experiencing interference.
- Connect the Access Point into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the device experiencing interference is connected.
- Consult the dealer or an experienced technician of the device experiencing interference for help.
This Access Point has been tested and meets applicable limits for Radio
Frequency (RF) exposure.
This Access Point must be installed and operated with minimum distance 21 cm
between the radiator & your body.
Operations in the 5.15−5.25GHz band are restricted to indoor usage only.
This Access Point meets all the other requirements specified in Section 15.407
of the FCC’s rules.

FCC Radiation Exposure Statement
The Access Point complies with FCC radiation exposure limits set forth for an
uncontrolled environment. To ensure compliance with the FCC’s RF exposure
guidelines, the Access Point must be used at least 21 cm from your body.
