Safe use

To simplify the assembly, please read the following instructions before beginning. Keep this manual and the assembly manual for future reference.
WARNINGS

  • WARNING. Read all instructions and complete all assembly steps before use.
  • WARNING. Minimal user age: 2 years.
  • WARNING. This product is for domestic use only.
  • WARNING. Choking hazard, small parts. Keep small children away during assembly because of small parts.
  • WARNING. If maximum user weights are relevant for the product, please look at the assembly manual for the specified user weight.
  • WARNING. If a maximum number of users is relevant, please look at the assembly manual for the maximum number of users.
  • WARNING. Adult supervision is required at all times when using the product.
  • WARNING. Make sure that the product is properly assembled and used as intended.
  • WARNING. Adult assembly required.
  • WARNING. In case the product is provided with anchoring, the product can only be anchored and used on soft surfaces. Ensure that this product is secured at all times by means of the appropriate anchoring system for its intended use and when not in use (storage). Unsecured product can fall over causing serious injury.
  • WARNING. Metal frames will conduct electricity. Lights, extension cords, and all such electrical equipment must never be allowed to come in contact with metal parts of the product.
  • WARNING. For products which are intended to climb on; do not install and/or place on concrete, asphalt, or any other hard surface.
  • WARNING. Inspect the product before each use. Make sure all parts are correctly and securely positioned and attached, check periodically afterwards. Tighten any loose hardware.
  • WARNING. Replace any worn, defective, or missing parts.
  • WARNING. Wear comfortable clothing free of hooks, snaps, drawstrings or anything which may snag or catch in the products mesh. Remove jewelry, necklaces, and earrings.
  • WARNING. Do not affix additions/appendages to parts of the frame that could affect the essential safety.
  • WARNING. Do not let children climb on top of the product or product parts which are not intended to be climbed on.
  • WARNING. For products which are intended to climb on; do not use when wet.
  • WARNING. Wet surfaces can get slippery.

  • Please bear in mind that children have a natural urge to play and that this may lead to unforeseen dangerous situations for which the manufacturer cannot be held responsible. Teach your children how to use the product and point out possible dangers to them.
  • We are not liable for any injuries that may occur when using the product.

Assembly and installation

It could be helpful to have an additional person assist in the assembly process.

  • Place the product away from walls, structures, fences, and other play areas. Maintain a clear space on all sides of the product. A minimum of 2m from frame edge is recommended.
  • Never set-up the product in heavy rain, wind or storm conditions, especially storms. It is recommended that the product be taken apart and stored.
  • Place the product on a level surface before use.

Usage and maintenance

Inspect the product before each use and replace any worn, defective, or missing parts. The following conditions could present potential hazards:

  • Missing, improperly positioned, or insecurely attached parts.
  • A bent or broken frame.
  • Sharp protrusions on the frame.
  • Loosened or missing hardware or anchoring system.
  • Products made out of metal parts during thunderstorms, as metal tubes can conduct lighting.
  • Tongues and lips can stick to metalwork at subzero temperatures.
  • In warmer and sunnier conditions, parts can become hot. The temperature should be checked regularly during use, especially metal parts.

Please be aware of the facts regarding wooden parts:

  • Weather influences on the wood can cause it to warp or split. This does not have a negative influ-ence on the structure.
  • This type of wood provides a natural protection against rot, mold and vermin.
  • In seasons with higher humidity black dots can occur, this is not harmful and will disappear when the humidity drops, and the temperatures rise. If you want to remove this, it can be washed off with  soap.

Warranty

  1. After the date of the purchase invoice, the owner of the EXIT product has a:
    • 2-year warranty on the breaking of the frame and metal parts.
    • 2-year warranty on wooden parts.
    • 12-month warranty on the other parts.
    • Wearing parts are excluded from warranty.
  2. The warranty becomes defunct if:
    • This product is used incorrectly and/or carelessly and is used in such a way that it does not comply with its purpose.
    • The maximum (user) weight has been exceeded.
    • This product is not assembled and maintained according to the instruction booklet.
    • Technical repairs are performed without consultation with the supplier.
    • Parts, which are mounted afterwards, do not comply with the technical specifications of the product concerned or are mounted incorrectly.
    • Defects are a result of climatic influences such as corrosion, UV rays or normal disintegration.
  3. The warranty only applies when proof, accompanied by original purchase invoice, is presented to the EXIT toys costumer service or an EXIT Toys dealer.
  4. In case of material and construction defects that have been ascertained by EXIT Toys, the product or its components will be repaired or replaced – according to its choice – free of charge during the warranty period mentioned in Article 1.
  5. If the claim for warranty is not justifiable, all the costs are at the expense of the owner.
  6. The EXIT Toys products are designed for domestic and outdoor use. It is not permitted to rent out or place the toy in public areas like schools or day-care centers or sporting facilities. The warranty and any other liabilities shall expire if the toy is rented out or used in public areas.
