Remove the seat, both side covers, and both saddlebags. If the bike is equipped with seat bumpers, remove them as well.

Using a T45 socket, a T40 socket, a 9/16” wrench, and a 1/2” wrench, remove the bag rail.
Make sure to keep all the hardware we will be reusing them for the install -
Reinstall the small OEM bolt and nut in its original hole using the T40 socket and 1/2” wrench.
Torque this bolt to 15-ft-lbs
Note that the rear crash bar will not use this bolt. Refer to the picture for the bolt and the location it must go back to. -
Install the rear crash bar:
• Using a 7/32” Allen socket, screw in the included FHCS 3/8”-16×1 bolt first into the threaded hole in the top of your frame (under the seat).
• Install the OEM shortest torx screw in the center hole of your frame.
• Lastly, screw in the second OEM torx screw at the rear of the bike through the subframe. (Longest bolt)
• Please refer to the picture for the order in which to install the hardware -
Torque all three fasteners to 30 ft-lbs

Repeat steps 2 and 3 for the other side of the bike.

Reinstall side covers, saddlebags, and seat.

Install your slider tips.
