Product Information
The OG T-Sport Fairing Kit is a motorcycle accessory designed to enhance the appearance and functionality of your bike. It includes an upper fairing mount, headlight bracket kit, lower fairing bracket, 5.75” LED Headlight, headlight bucket, windshield mounting hardware, and billet arms assembly.
Product Usage Instructions
-
Before starting the installation, remove the stock headlight visor and complete headlight assembly. Refer to the service manual for guidance if needed. It is recommended to remove the masters fuse located under the left side cover before unplugging the stock headlight. Keep all the stock hardware for later use.
-
Loosen the handlebar risers bolt under the upper triple tree to create enough space for sliding the upper fairing mount washer.
-
Install the upper fairing mount, ensuring it makes full contact with the upper bracket using the stock washers. Adjust the position to your preference for fairing lean or clearance for accessories.
Torque back the stock riser bolts to 30-40 ft-lbs. -
Install the supplied headlight bracket kit under the lower triple tree and the lower fairing bracket on top using the supplied hardware. Tighten it securely by hand.
-
Install and plug the new 5.75” LED Headlight into the supplied headlight bucket. Attach the headlight bucket to the round headlight conversion lower bracket using the supplied hex bolt, washers, and lock nut. Torque to 15 ft-lbs.
-
Ensure the headlight bucket is positioned without contacting the fairing shell to prevent vibrations during riding.
-
Insert larger rubber grommets inside the lower windshield mounting holes and rubber-coated brass insulating rivet nuts inside the fairing shell lower windshield mounting holes.
-
Pre-install the upper windshield hardware through the windshield using blue thread locker. Use the supplied rubber washers to secure the screen. Refer to pictures for guidance.
-
Tighten the billet arms assembly to 15 ft-lbs torque once the windscreen is properly installed.
-
Wait approximately 24 hours for the threadlocker to dry before riding and enjoy your new T-Sport Fairing Kit!
Note:
- You can adjust the headlight’s vertical position and the windshield’s angle at any time for improved lighting and comfort. For the Dark smoke screen, a simple polish can make small scratches disappear after a year of use.
- For proper installation on older Dyna models with top tree-mounted headlights, it is recommended to use the Headlight bracket hole pattern as a guide to drill the lower tree. Then, use the 5.75” Headlight bucket (or any 5.75” standard ear-mount headlight bucket) to install the headlight onto the lower tree. The same hole can be used to mount the lower fairing bracket.

Fairing Kit Installation
- Before you start your new fairing kit installation, you will need to remove your stock headlight visor & complete the headlight assembly. Please refer to service manual if needed. Before unplugging your stock headlight, we recommend removing your masters fuse located under the left side cover. Keep all the stock hardware, you will need some later during the installation.
- Loosen your handlebar risers bolt under upper triple tree until you have enough space to slide under the washer your upper fairing mount.
- Install upper fairing mount. You don’t have to slide it in completely however you must tight it where the stock washers make full contact on the upper bracket (it can be adjusted to give either more lean to the fairing or give yourself more clearance for various accessories). Torque back your stock riser bolts. Recommended Torque 30-40 ft-lbs. Refer to picture below.
- Install the supplied headlight bracket kit under your lower triple tree & your lower fairing bracket on top of it according to pictures below using supplied hardware. Lock it down tight by hand. Refer to picture below.
- Install your fairing shell onto lower and upper fairing mounts using supplied ¼-20 hex bolt (4x), locknut (4x) & washers (8x one on each side). The fairing shell brackets (Left & right) go on the inside of the upper & lower fairing mounts. Put the nut on, facing the rear of the bike. Also be carefull not hitting your tank with your key/ratchet while you thigh it down. Recommended Torque 15 ft-lbs. Note. The inner fairing brackets are already tight onto the fairing shell. Do not re torque them.
- Install & plug your new 5.75” LED Headlight into the supplied 5.75” Headlight bucket. Install your headlight bucket onto your round headlight conversion lower bracket using supplied 3/8 -16 hex bolt, washers (2x) & lock nut. Recommended Torque 15 ft-lbs. Refer to picture below.
- Make sure the headlight bucket is placed so it is not contacting the fairing shell. This will create vibration when riding.
- Install the pre-assembled T-Sport Fairing Billet Windshield Arms (2x) onto the inner fairing brackets using supplied ¼-20 hex bolt (4x), locknut (4x) & washers (8x). Install in place but leave the arms enough loose so you are still able to play with both arms in order for you to install the windshield more easily. Refer to pictures below.
- Insert larger rubber grommets (2x) inside lower windshield mounting holes & Rubber-Coated Brass Insulating Rivet Nut (2x) inside the fairing shell lower windshield mounting holes. Refer to pictures below.
- Using some blue threadlocker, pre-install through your windshield the upper windshield hardware so it hold onto the screen with the supplied rubber washers in the back of the shield. Refer to pictures below (next page).
- Install your windscreen using supplied hardware. Start by threading the lower 2x 10-32 x 1 ¾” long Flat Head Cap Srews on the bottom two holes. Use the anti buffeting spacers between the windshield & fairing shell (Cut down to desired height if needed for better riding experience). Once the bottom is attached. Align the upper arm with the top windshield holes & thread in both ¼-20 flat head screw with the loose billet arms. Refer to schematic below for proper installation. Do not tight it yet, you will still need some play to adjust your windscreen correctly.
- When you’re happy with your windshield position, Hand Tight the bottom (2x) 10-32 screws until they’re fully threaded against the black Nylon countersunk washer. Using a torque wrench to tight the top (2x) ¼-20 srcrews to max. 12-15 lbs-po. The windscreen should be well secured. DO NOT OVERTIGHT, the windscreen will end up cracking prematurely.
- Once the windscreen is well-installed. Tighten the (2x) Billet arms assembly to recommended Torque; 15 ft-lbs.
- Wait ~24h for the thread locker to dry before riding & enjoy your new T-Sport Fairing Kit!!!
Note:
- You can always adjust your headlight vertical position to improve lighting & your windshield angle to improve confort at any time. For the Dark smoke screen, a simple polish will make the small scratch disappear after a good year of use;
- For proper installation on older dyna models with top tree-mounted headlight, we recommend using our Headlight bracket hole patern as a guide to drill lower tree and then use our 5.75” Headlight bucket (or any 5.75” standard ear-mount headlight bucket) to install your headlight onto the lower tree. You’ll be using this same hole to mount up your lower fairing bracket also.
- Some of the pictures in this installation guide are from our Softail Fatbob kit and are showing a M8 Softail motorcycle. The only major differences between the two kits are the headlight bracket kit and lower triple tree bracket setup. You can still refer to these pictures.
