Front Fender Removal

Before starting the installation, remove the stock front fender. Keep all 4x OEM front fender screws for use in the new OG Shorty fender kit. Clean the OEM screw threads before reusing them.

Initial Installation

Install the fender kit onto the fork lowers using the OEM hardware (4x screws). Thread the bolts in to secure the fender onto the bike. Adjust the fender clearance and angle by pulling on the fender to move it within the adjustment range. Once satisfied with the fitment, gently remove the fender by taking out the OEM hardware (4x screws).

Final Installation

Torque the supplied stainless steel button head screws to 10 ft-lbs. Apply blue/medium force thread locker on all 4x OEM fender mounting screws before reinstalling the fender kit onto the forks lower using OEM hardware. Torque all 4x OEM screws to 15 ft-lbs.

Final Steps

Wait approximately 24 hours for the thread locker to dry before riding. Enjoy your new OG Shorty Carbon Fiber Fender.

INSTALLATION

  1. Before you start your new kit installation, you will need to remove your stock Front fender. Keep all 4x OEM front fender screws as you will use these for your new OG shorty fender kit installation. We recommend cleaning the OEM screw threads before re-using them.ORIGINAL-GARAGE-MOTO-OG-Shorty-Carbon-Fiber-Fender-Kit-FIG-1

  2.  Assemble both fender billet brackets onto the fender using some blue/medium force thread locker on all (4x) supplied stainless steel button head screws. Hand tight 4x bolts so the fender does not move loose in the brackets adjustment. Tight it so you are still able to move it by pulling with your hands using some very light force. Fender brackets on the outside of the fender, billet threaded inserts on the inside of the fender. Refer to the picture below.
Make sure to have the short portion pointing toward the front of the bike. See the pictures below. ORIGINAL-GARAGE-MOTO-OG-Shorty-Carbon-Fiber-

  3. Install your fender kit onto the fork lowers using OEM hardware (4x screws). Just thread the bolts in so the fender holds onto the bike. At this point, you want to adjust the fender clearance & angle by pulling onto the fender so it moves within the adjustment. Once you are happy with the fitment/adjustment, remove the fender gently from the bike by removing the OEM hardware (4x screws).ORIGINAL-GARAGE-MOTO-OG-Shorty-Carbon-Fiber-Fender-Kit-FIG-3

  5. Using some blue/medium force thread locker on all (4x) OEM fender mounting screws install your fender kit onto the forks lower using OEM hardware. Torque to 15 ft-lbs all 4x OEM screws.ORIGINAL-GARAGE-MOTO-OG-Shorty-Carbon-Fiber-Fender-Kit-FIG-4
