Instructions For Use
COMPONENTS:
How to charge the machine
- Place the cutting machine on its bottom side on the recharging base.
- Connect it to the power supply. The indicator on the cutting machine lights up, signaling the start of recharging.
Cutting with 5 measures
- You can use the machine to cut without a comb or you can use one of the 4 combs with sizes 1.5, 3, 4.5 and 6 mm.
- To adjust the hair size, just select the right comb.
Adjustment of blades and combs
- To adjust the blade:
- To adjust the blade, move the lever from front to back.
- For mounting the combs:
- Align the edge of the comb with the edge of the blade and push forward slightly to assemble.
- To dismantle the combs:
- Simply pull the comb tightly.
Removal And Installation Of The Blades
In the drawing you will see that the lower blade holes are larger than the shanks of the blade screws. Loosen the screws, align the lower blade with the upper blade and tighten the screws firmly.
- The end of the upper blade teeth should be 0.5 to 1 mm behind the lower blade. This is important so that the razor does not cut too close or allow the moving blade to touch the skin.
- The left end tooth of the upper blade must cover or be to the left of the first small tooth of the lower blade.
- The right end tooth of the upper blade must touch the large tooth of the lower blade.
Conical lever
- The cutting machine is equipped with an adjustable conical lever that changes the height of your cut.
- When the lever is in the highest position, the blades will give the tightest cut.
- Pushing the lever down gradually increases the cutting length.
Cleaning and maintenance
Blade alignment:
- The blades are greased and aligned before leaving the factory.
- They should be realigned if they have been removed for cleaning or replacement.
- To realign the blades, simply match the teeth of the upper and lower blades, point for point. The end of the upper blade teeth should be approximately 0.5 to 1 mm behind the lower blade. Compare the blades of your cutting machine with the drawing.
- If the blade alignment is incorrect, add a few drops of oil to the blade, switch on the cutting machine for a few moments, switch it off and unplug it. Loosen the screws slightly and adjust the alignment. Tighten the screws after the blade is aligned.
Cleaning of the blades:
- Clean the blades with the cleaning brush provided.
Blade maintenance:
- To keep your clipper in top condition, the blades should be oiled every few haircuts.
- For proper oiling, the unit must be held so that the blades are in a downward position. With the machine blade in operation, pour 2 or 3 drops of oil on the upper blade.
Precautions
- Do not disassemble the product.
- Water should not be used to wash the cutting machine. Keep it away from moisture while in operation.
- Use a small damp cloth or neutral liquid soap to clean the product. Do not use solvents.
- Never recharge the machine at temperatures above 40ºC or below 0ºC.
IS IT NORMAL FOR THE MACHINE TO OVERHEAT SLIGHTLY DURING USE OR RECHARGING?
