Product Usage Instructions

Pre-installation Checklist

Ensure the battery is in a healthy and fully charged condition. You may need to have the engine on after installation to operate signals. If aftermarket front LED signals are installed, resistors must be installed on the front to slow down the flash rate and any running/park lights should be disabled if available for single circuit LED turn signals. Signals must be flashing at the stock OEM rate before installation.

Park/Brake Connection

Locate the main 3-wire harness from the bike and connect it with the 3-wire connector on the LED tail light. Use the following wire colour schematics if needed: Red Wire – Park (+), White Wire – Brake (+), Black Wire – Ground (-).

Integrated Turn Signals (Optional)

Using the supplied sub-harness, connect the yellow and blue wires to the matching yellow and blue wires on the LED tail light. Connect the opposite end of the sub-harness to the bike’s factory left and right signal connectors (orange and blue plugs).

Programming Instructions

It is recommended to program the tail light before installation if the button cannot be reached after mounting. Follow these steps:

1. Locate the program button on the back housing.
2. Turn the key to the ON position with park lights on.
3. Press the button consecutively within 1 second between each press to the program:
   • ON/OFF Stop Alert – press button 3 times.
   • ON/OFF Sequential Signals – press button 4 times.
4. The parking light (red) will flash off and on briefly within 4 seconds to verify settings have been saved.

Note

Two resistors are wired inside the sub-harness, which may get hot when turn signals are activated. Mount them on a metal sub-frame away from soft plastics or toolbags to dissipate heat. Turning off Stop Alert will enable constant brake light activation, and turning off sequential signals will activate the entire left or right half when signals are on.

Two resistors are wired inside the sub-harness. Normally, these resistors get hot when the turn signals are activated. We recommend mounting on metal subframe away from soft plastics, toolbags, etc to help dissipate the heat.

Motodynamic Sequential LED Tail Light Programming Instructions

NOTE : It is recommended that the tail light is programmed before installation if the button cannot be reached after it is mounted to the bike. Simply connect the main harness to supply power to the tail light while the key is in the “ON” position.

1. Locate the program button on the back housing
2. Turn the key to the “ON” position, making sure the park lights are on
3. Press the button consecutively within 1 second between each press to program the following:
4. ON/OFF Stop Alert – hit button 3 times
5. ON/OFF Sequential Signals – hit button 4 times
6. The parking light (red) will flash off and on again very briefly within 4 seconds to verify the settings have been saved.

Note: Turning off Stop Alert will enable the brake light to be constantly on during brake activation just like stock. Turning off sequential signals will enable the entire left or right half to turn on when the signals are activated.
