Product Usage Instructions
Setting Up the Timer:
- Locate the electrical outlet near the device you want to control.
- Set the ON / TIMER switch to TIMER and plug the timer into the outlet.
- Set the current time by aligning the arrowhead on top of the timer dial to the present time.
- Determine the desired start and end times and push down all pins between those times. Pins down indicate ON, while pins up indicate OFF.
Using the Timer:
- Plug your electrical device directly into the timer.
- Ensure the electrical device is set to the ON position for the timer control to work.
- Set the switch on the timer to the TIMER position for it to work.
Additional Features:
To use the Manual Always ON feature, switch the ON / TIMER switch to ON. Remember to switch it back to the TIMER position for proper timer function. In case of power failure, reset the time as indicated in step 3 above.
Initial Use:
Install the unit at least 5ft above ground level with the outlet receptacle facing downward. Plug-in lights or appliances into the outlets at the bottom.
FAQ
- Why are pins pushed down by default?
- The timer pins are factory preset in the pushed-down (‘ON’) position for convenience. Pull pins up for ‘OFF’ intervals.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
- Locate the electrical outlet that is close to the device you want to control.
- Set the ON / TIMER switch located next to the dial to the TIMER position. Plug the timer into the outlet.
- Set the current time – turning clockwise, align the Arrowhead (See diagram) on TOP of the timer to the present time (lines between numbers are in increments of 30 minutes). There is no need to touch the pins to set the current time.
- NOTE : Dial is based on AM/PM.
- Determine the desired start time and push “DOWN” all pins until the desired OFF time. When pins are pushed down the timer will be on and working. When pins are in the UP position timer is OFF.
- NOTE : “pins” are grey slices around the dial. For example: to turn the timer ON at 5 pm and OFF at 10 pm, push down all the pins from 5 pm to 10 pm.
- Plug your electrical device directly into the timer. The electrical device must be set to the “ON” position for the timer control to work properly.
- The switch on the timer must be set to the TIMER position for the timer to work. To use the Manual “Always ON” feature, switch the ON / TIMER switch (located next to the dial) to ON for “Always ON”
- Be sure to set switch back to the TIMER position for proper timer function. In case of power failure, reset the time of day as indicated in step 3 above.

INITIAL USE:
Install the cord and unit at least 5ft (1.5m) above ground level with the outlet receptacle facing downward. Let the switch hang downward so moisture doesn’t accumulate in the outlet. Plug the lights or appliances into the outlets at the bottom.

- DO NOT PLUG THIS TIMER INTO AN EXTENSION CORD OR OTHER ELECTRICAL ADAPTER. PLUG DIRECTLY INTO AN ELECTRICAL OUTLET.
- DO NOT CONNECT THIS TIMER TO APPLIANCES THAT CONTAIN HEATING ELEMENTS (COOKING APPLIANCES, HEATERS, IRONS, ETC.). FAILURE OF THE TIMER TO SHUT OFF SUCH DEVICES MAY LEAD TO OVERHEATING AND A POTENTIAL FIRE.
- DO NOT PLUG IN THIS TIMER IF IT IS WET.
- DO NOT CLEAN THIS TIMER WHEN IT IS PLUGGED IN.
- DO NOT EXCEED THE MAXIMUM RATINGS OF THE TIMER.
- POTENTIAL SHOCK HAZARD: KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN.
