Overview of Installation Steps

Installation steps for human presence sensor:

  1. Wiring.
The device will automatically be in the “waiting for network configuration” status after Connected to the USB-C cable to the power.

  2. Install the Smart Life App (skip if already installed).

  3. Connect Zigbee gateway to the Smart Life App.

  4. Add the device to the Smart Life App

  5. Enjoy it.

Install Wiring

First, choose the installation height, preferably lm off the ground. (It is at the same level as the chest of the person when sitting quietly.) When there are obstacles and not convenient to install at 1 m level, it is suggested to be installed at a higher position (not exceeding 2m), and at the same time, adjust the pitch angle so that it is aligned with the chest where people usually sit.

Then, select the installation horizontal position. The test reference induction distance of 1 m side mount height (sensitivity and the furthest detection distance are adjusted to the maximum) is as follows:
Overview of Installation Steps

After the location is selected, if it is a magnetic location and there is no rotation angle requirement, you can directly place the main body magnetically to the location to be installed. If the position cannot be magnetically attracted or the rotation angle is required, the main body needs to be magnetically placed on the metal bracket, and then pasted with the sticker on the back of the metal bracket.

Note:

  1. Within the sensing range, if there are swinging green plants, moving metal, fluttering curtains, clothes, running air conditioners, fans and other interference factors, the sensor may misjudge them as human body. If there is vibration or shaking at the installation location, they also might be misjudged as human body.
  2. This sensor is not professional waterproof and moisture proof equipment. To ensure long-term normal use, please be sure to install it in the dry area.
