Safety instructions
NOTICE
- The Axis product shall be used in compliance with local laws and regulations.
- Use only applicable tools when installing the Axis product. Using excessive force with power tools could cause damage to the product.
- Do not use chemicals, caustic agents, or aerosol cleaners.
- Use a clean cloth dampened with pure water for cleaning.
- Use only accessories that comply with the technical specifications of your product. These can be provided by Axis or a third party. Axis recommends using Axis power source equipment compatible with your product.
- Use only spare parts provided by or recommended by Axis.
- Do not attempt to repair the product yourself. Contact Axis support or your Axis reseller for service matters.
Transportation
NOTICE
When transporting the Axis product, use the original packaging or
equivalent to prevent damage to the product.
Battery
- The Axis product uses a 3.7 V ID1058 rechargeable lithium battery as the power supply for the product.
- The Axis product also uses a 3.0 V MS621T rechargeable lithium battery as the power supply for its internal real-time clock (RTC).
- The 3.0 V MS621T and 3.7 V ID1058 batteries contain 1,2-dimethoxyethane; ethylene glycol dimethyl ether (EGDME), CAS no. 110-71-4.
- The 3.7 V ID1058 battery contains 1,3 Propanesultone, CAS no. 1120–71–4.
DANGER
- Do not dispose of the product or batteries in a fire or a hot oven. Risk of explosion.
- Do not leave the product or batteries in any high-temperature environment over 80°C (176°F).
- Do not leave the product or batteries in extremely low or high-temperature surroundings, which can result in leakage of flammable liquid or gas.
- Do not subject the product or batteries to low air pressure that may result in an explosion or leakage of flammable liquid or gas.
WARNING
- Always charge the product using an Axis body-worn docking station or a 5.0 V USB-C power supply that meets the UL/IEC LPS or PS2 requirements. Never attempt to charge the product by any other means.
- The 3.0 V MS621T battery is not designed to be replaced. Please contact Axis support or your Axis reseller for service matters.
- If needed the 3.7 V ID1058 rechargeable lithium battery can be replaced using the AXIS TW1906 Battery Kit 5P.
- Never expose batteries to excessive heat such as sunshine, fire or similar.
- Always dispose of used batteries according to local regulations or the battery manufacturer’s instructions.
Note

Use the product’s USB connector to charge the product and power AXIS TW1200
and AXIS TW1201 only. Never power any other devices using the product’s USB
connector.
