Safety precautions
Before using the equipment , read the following instructions without fail.
When using the magnetizer power supply equipment, read the instruction manual
supplied with each product thoroughly. It is also recommended to handle the
equipment properly while taking adequate care for safety.
Throughout this instruction manual, the safety instructions are discriminated
by ranking as “DANGER”, “WARNING”, and “CAUTION”.

In case where there is a high possibility that severe personal injury or death

This instruction manual supplied with the equipment should be kept in careful
storage so that it may be taken out and read as necessary.
DANGER

Those who need the help of the medical equipment which must avoid the influence by magnetism are forbidden to operate this equipment.

When making wirings on the input side of this equipment, be sure to turn off all phases of factory power supply.
-
The power input cable supplied as an accessory is a 3-con. cable having a ground connection wire.
Connect two wires(Red and Yellow) to a power source of 1-phase AC 220V and the ground connection wire(green) to the factory ground connection. -
Before making wirings for the output terminal, be sure to turn off all phases of the factory power source and turn off the power circuit breaker of the equipment.

This equipment employs high voltages, and if it is handled incorrect ly, it is dangerous. Before making wirings of loads (magnetizing yoke and magnetizing coil), be sure to confirm that no charge voltage remains.

Connect metal portion of the magnetizing yoke(yoke port ion) and magnetizing coil(bobbin portion) to the factory ground connection.

During magnetizing current application, do not touch both the magnetizing power supply main unit and the magnetizing yoke or magnetizing/demagnetizing coil simultaneously, as it may cause a danger of electric shock.
WARNING
- It is dangerous to touch the load whose insulation is deteriorated during the current application. Therefore, when designing the magnetizing system(production line), provide a ground connection to the load(the magnetizing yoke, magnetizing/demagnetizing coil bobbin portion) and use a both-hand startup system and an area sensor or the like to avoid touching by the current application.
- During the current application, it may happen that the object being magnetized or demagnetized is applied with momentary strong forces and vigorously moved. Previously estimate the impact force at a low voltage and determine the correct method of setting. the hand may be caught or the body may be injured by rush-out of the object being magnetized or demagnetized.
CAUTION
- We will take no responsibility for any damage, etc. which are caused by any repair, disassembly, modification, etc., performed by any third person other than the persons of, or specified by us.
- More than two people should work together, when it is not avoidable that you check up the inside of the equipment by cause of urgent matter)
- In the event that any abnormal operation such as malfunction of the equipment is noticed, immediately stop use of the equipment and contact us.
- This equipment uses high voltages. Therefore, avoid installation in a place with much dirt, oil and fume, conductive dust, corrosive gases and/or inflammable gases, or in a place subjected to high temperature and dew formation, as it may cause this equipment to be damaged or deteriorated or to malfunction. install the equipment in a well-ventilated, less dusty and dry place.
- When operating this equipment, be sure not to place around it any object which should not be magnetized. Precision instrument, magnetic cards, etc., may become useless.
- With no load (no magnetizing-demagnetizing coil, etc.) connected, do not attempt charging.
- Do not block the suction and/or discharge port by installing this equipment. if the suction and/or discharge port is clogged, this equipment may be damaged or degraded or malfunction.
- The interval between current applications should not be shorter than the operating tact shown in the paragraph of specifications. Otherwise, this equipment may be damaged, degraded or malfunction.
- Each connection should be made firmly with no looseness. Before use, mount a panel or cover to the input/output terminal portion.
- At the end of the work, be sure to discharge the capacitors (charges) to the external load.
General
2-1 Feature
DXME series magnetizing power is permanently magnetized magnetic material for
the capacitive pulse charge and magnetic power. Through the magnetizing coil
or magnetizing fixture for magnetizing of permanent magnetic material.
DXME series magnetizing power, can be widely used for a variety of permanent
magnet motor, electromagnetic speakers, home appliances, magnetic sensors,
motor vehicle, micro motor and other permanent magnetic materials
applications.
DXME series magnetizing power, covering the current charge and magnetic charge
and magnetic properties of the industry’s requirements, such as ferrite multi-
pole permanent magnet magnetization (including radial, axial, plane, spoke to
the ring), rare earth permanent magnetic materials multi-polar magnetization
(including radial, axial, plane, spoke to the ring).
DXME series magnetizing power, that is, high voltage, high current, capacity
type discharge impulse magnetizer power. As the charge on the capacitor energy
storage is sufficient, magnetizing or demagnetizing load instantaneous release
(release time is typically ≤ 100uS, depending on the load impedance parameters
vary), in charge, magnetizing or demagnetization load internally generated
strong pulsed magnetic field, this can increase the magnetizing effect of
making permanent magnet materials fully saturated.

2-3 Energy selection method
Capacitor discharge energy according to the formula, through the device’s
model number can be calculated by the energy: P = (1 / 2) * CU2 convenient to
calculate a specific type of magnetizing power of the maximum discharge
energy, but also can be used for selection use.

Method of operation and usage
4-1 Function
Operation panel is shown in Figure 1
- Power switch & indicator (ON):When the equipment is connected to the power supply,the indicator in the middle of power switch lights indicates that the power is connected.Keep pressing the green button for 2s,the equipment ower on is delayed by 4s.After used,press the red button,the equipment will power off.
- Charge Voltmeter (VOLT): Shows the charge storage capacitor voltage, that is magnetizing voltage.
- Chzrge Ammeter (CHARGE AMPERE): Displays the work of charging current at AC 220V .
- Voltage adjustment knob (V.ADJUST): Regulating the charge voltage, the voltage increases clockwise, counterclockwise rotation decreases the voltage. When adjusting this knob, set the charging voltage value of the table with the changes. The knob or button is pressed in charge after the effective charge, charging voltage to adjust the value of the last subject, and to maintain the voltage at that location.
- Ready indicator:White indicator.Power in the preparation state, the indicator lights.
- Charging indicator:Green indicator.When the Charge button is pressed the indicator lights. Show the power is in charging state.
- Charging complete indicator:Orange indicator.When the power to set the charge voltage value, the indicator lights. Show charge operation can be completed.
- Discharge indicator:Red indicator. When the Discharge button is pressed, the indicator lights on 1s,shows the power is being discharge operation.
- Auto charging indicator:Green indicator.When the auto-manual knob is setted to auto, the indicator lights. Show the power is working in auto model.
- Discharge button:The button is for the instantaneous use, when the charge is complete press the button to complete the discharge operation.
- Charge button:Green indicator.This button is used to start charging.
- Auto knob:This knob is used to switch auto/manual working state.When the knob is setted to auto,operator should press the Charge button when the first time use,then,the power would automatically repeatedly do the same operation .
4-2 Ambient requirements
Install this equipment in a well-ventilated, less dirty and dry place.
Avoid blocking the suction and/or discharge port by installing this equipment.

4-3 Installation and Connection
- Power supply input socket: output, input control signal output terminal discharge outlet and close the magnetizing power of the power switch before you can connect.
- The magnetizing load (magnetizing coil, magnetizing fixture) cable connected to the discharge through the output terminals, to eliminate the impact of inductive components, as much as possible the two output cables intertwined, connected to safe and reliable.
- Power input cable to the site of the power supply.
CAUTION
Confirm the power supply.
Confirm the connection.
DANGER
Before connecting the load to be sure the power is no residue magnetizing
voltage, the power switch to “OFF” state, in order to connect the work load.
Connection as follows:
- Power Cord: Connect single-phase AC220V 50/60Hz power capacity ≥ 40A power supply.
- Ground wire: Connect the power supply side of the grounding line.
- Open the front lower part of the magnetizing power of the shield, you can see the power input socket, the supplied power cord into a power outlet and tighten.
DANGER
Turn off the power brake, connect the power input cable. Power input cable in
the ground marked the ground, the ground should be connected with the factory
ground
By external control discharge operation when the remote control socket of the
first ①, ○3 the input jacks on ‘a’ contact。
Tip: foot switch connected to this outlet, they can pedal remote control
discharge operation.
※ Please connect all joints tight, to prevent release. At the same time a good
set of output terminals of the protective cover or close the device panel.
4-4 Operation Method
4-4-1 Method ofmanual operation function

Connected single-phase AC220V power.

Press the Power On button (POWER) delay 3 seconds, the device power on, power indicator (ON) light, the device boot is completed.

Set the auto knob to manual.
-
Press the Charge button , the charging indicator lights while preparing indicator is off,adjust the charge voltage setting knob,settings displayed in the charging voltage display table.
[Note] The reason for magnetizing power anomalies, can not be achieved within 10 seconds of the charging voltage set value, the internal protection circuit detects motion, automatically turn off the magnetizing power, and through the internal resistance of the capacitor discharge residual voltage release. -
When magnetizing power charge to the setting voltage,the charge complete indicator light. Charging voltage stabilized at the set voltage value.

Press the discharge button or remote control socket ①, ③ jack, enter ‘a’ contact, magnetizing power through the load coil discharge. At this point the load moment to the magnetic field generated by magnetized pieces of magnetization. Voltmeter pointer back to “0”, 1 seconds, charging indicator light, magnetizing power supply into the next charging cycle.

Operation is completed, turn the power switch. Power light (ON) is off, the power to stop the state ofmagnetization. Magnetizing power in off the power switch, internal discharge circuit action, the residual voltage capacitor discharge resistance through the release.
CAUTION
Ifwithin 10 seconds the power can not be magnetized to a predetermined charge
voltage, the internal electrical anomaly detection Road be activated
automatically, and automatically turn off the power switch.
DANGER
Magnetizing voltage is magnetized according to the magnetic properties of set
pieces, the voltage at its saturation magnetization value plus 5% to 10% range
of voltage as the magnetizing voltage. Do not need to supply full load
magnetizing voltage, it will not only waste energy, but also will greatly
reduce the magnetizing coil and fixture life.
4-4-2 Automatic charging method
The model is more suitable for large volume production and magnetization used
in the production line.
Theory: magnetizing power supply in the boot after power on, automatic
charging, after charging magnetizing power automatically, without manual
operation. features: increased magnetizing power of the overall operating
efficiency.

Connected single-phase AC220V power.

Press the Power On button (POWER) delay 4 seconds, the device power on, the white power indicator light, the device boot is completed.

Set auto knob to auto,auto charging indicator light..

Press the charge button when the first time use. Then magnetizing power starts charging ,ready indicator off. Adjust the charge voltage setting knob, settings displayed in the Setting the Charge Voltage display table.

CAUTION
If the magnetizing power supply can not be charged to a predetermined voltage
within 10 seconds, the internal abnormality detection circuit will start
automatically and turn off the power switch..
DANGER
The value ofmagnetizing voltage is set according to the magnetic properties of
the magnetized material, the voltage at its saturation magnetization value
plus 5% to 10% range of voltage as the magnetizing voltage. Do not need to
supply full load magnetizing voltage, it will not only waste energy, but also
greatly reduce the life of the magnetizing coil and fixture.
CAUTION
Do not place objects which are easily magnetized and easily damaged around the
magnetizin power around while it is working. The maximum output current of
this magnetizing power supply is 15KA. If the output current is greater than
this value, it is likely to damage the internal components of the magnetizing
power supply, please pay attention!

4-5 Importance notice
The magnetizing power supply needs about 10 minutes before the charging
voltage stability.
Precautions
DANGER
The maximum charging voltage of the magnetized power supply is 1500V, and it
is dangerous to handle it incorrectly. It should be handled with special care.
Before exchanging the load or conducting internal checks, be sure to confirm
that it does not have remains charging.
CAUTION
With no load, do not attempt charging.
The interval between charge and discharge can not be less than the sing period
of the technical requirements. Otherwise, this equipment may be damaged,
degraded or malfunction.
Periodical Checks
This equipment employs high voltages and needs to do the following Check items
on a regular basis.
CAUTION do not touch the control circuit board during inspection.
DANGER
Before attempting periodical checks, turn off the circuit breaker on the
switch board.
Before attempting periodical checks, confirm that the charge voltage is 0V and
disconnected the input power cable.

Period warranty
- Within one year from the date of receiving the magnetizing power is the warranty period.
- This warranty does not apply to facility fail which occurs for the cause on your side or due to a natural disaster.
- The specific terms refer to “product quality guarantee”.
CAUTION
- This equipment is designed for one phase AC 220V. 3-con.input power source cable has three lines, one of which should be c onnected to the ground. Be sure not to connect them to three- phase.
- Do not connect input power source to the output terminals. The name plates which show “OUTPUT” and “+ -“ are attached near the output Terminal.
- Do not switch on the button of power supply if the output ter minal do not connect any load such as the magnetizing coils or demagnetizing coils.
- Be sure to close the front door after connecting each cable as the equipment can not be turned on with the door being open.
- The break switch for adjusting the capacity is mounted on the front panel behind the front door. Be sure to tighten the joint of the break switch while adjusting the capacity. Switch capacity, please make sure the residual voltage is 0V.
- Do not touch the break switch and the output terminal during The charge up and the current application.
