Pairing Transmitters:

Customizing Ringtones

Assign a unique ringtone to each transmitter for easy identification.
To change the ringtone, refer to Step 3 in the Quick Start section of the manual.

Factory Reset

To reset to factory settings (no paired transmitters, default ringtone):
Hold the Music Change button for approximately 5 seconds until you hear a ‘Ding Dong’ ringtone and see the LED flash.

Transmitter Installation

Method 1: Double-sided Adhesive Tape

Clean the mounting area on the wall.
Apply double-sided adhesive tape to the transmitter and mount it on the wall.
Hold in place for 10 seconds.

Method 2: Screw/Anchors

Separate the case and mark drilling spots on the wall using the back half of the case.
Drill holes, insert anchors if needed, and secure with screws.
Assemble the top half of the push button cover.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How do I troubleshoot if the receiver doesn’t sound?
A: Check the doorbell button battery, ensure receiver placement,range, pairing, and unmuted volume.

Please carefully read this user manual before using and installation

What You Should Know Before Using

The transmitter (push button) supplied with this kit comes paired with the receiver from the factory, set to default ringtone “Ding-Dong”. If you are only using the push button included with this kit and are okay with the “Ding-Dong” ringtone, then there is no programming/pairing required.
IF NOT, please refer to the “Quick Start” section to pair the transmitter with the receiver and set your favorite ringtone(s).
It is not advisable to mount the transmitter onto metal surfaces as it will diminish or block RF signals between the transmitter and the receiver. However, if this is the only option then we recommend that you use the double sided tape provided for mounting the push button.
Operating range will decrease if battery in the transmitter is in low power status.
It is not advisable to mount the transmitter in the outdoor directly without any shelter which could accelerate aging of plastic materials.

Quick Start

Volume Control Button Location: Press the Volume Control button on the receiver. Press the button to toggle between High and Low volume and mute.
*The volume level setting does not affect the strobe light.
Set Ringtone Using the Music Change Button: Press the Music Change button to choose your favorite ringtone. Stop pressing the button once you hear the ringtone you want to use.
Pairing a transmitter to the receiver:
Select the ringtone you want to associate with the transmitter.
Hold and press the Volume Control button for 5s until a “Ding-Dong” sound is heard and the LED strobe starts ﬂashing. The receiver is now in paring mode.
Push the center push on the push button (or other transmitter) to send a signal to the receiver.

Remarks

Pairing mode will timeout automatically after pairing is completed.
Pairing mode will last for 5 seconds only.

Two or more transmitters pairing
Only one transmitter can be programmed at a time. For additional transmitters, please follow the pairing steps (1)-(3) once again to pair the transmitters one by one.
It is common practice to choose a different ringtone for each transmitter so you can distinguish which transmitter is being triggered.
Factory Reset
Hold the Music Change button for approximately 5 seconds. You will hear a short ‘Ding Dong’ ringtone and a quick flash of the LED strobe light. This indicates the receiver has reset to factory settings which is no transmitter paired and the receiver set to the “Ding-Dong” sound.

Changing the Ringtone
Refer to Step 3 in the “Quick Start” section of this manual.

WC180-SS Receiver & Transmitter Installation

Important: Test the range before mounting the push button (or other compatible sensor). The sensor will be referred to as a transmitter” in this document. The options below are for a push button. If using a different transmitter type, consult that manual.
Transmitter Installation Method 1: Double-sided adhesive tape.(Easiest install method)

After ensuring the right mounting position, please clean the flat area where you intend to install transmitter.
Tear off one side of the double-sided adhesive tape and stick it to the underside of transmitter; tear off the other side and place the transmitter on the wall. Hold in place for 10 seconds.

Transmitter Installation Method 2: Screw/Anchors
Please prepare an electric drill, Phillips screwdriver and slotted screwdriver before installation

Use the small screwdriver to separate the top half of the case from the lower half of the cases.
Using the back half of the case as a template, make two marks on the wall where the pre-drilled holes are located.
Drill two holes on the marked places, then insert the wall anchors (if needed).
Use the supplied screws to secure the back half of the push button to the wall.
Snap top half of push button cover to lower half.

Troubleshooting

The receiver doesn’t sound
- Check the doorbell button battery, replace it if necessary.
- The receiver is not securely set into the outlet .
- The receiver could be out of range of the doorbell button.
- The receiver may not have paired with the doorbell button.
- Ensure the volume is not muted (press volume button).
Operating range is reduced
- Metal structures can reduce the range of the product. Avoid mounting the push or chime on or near metal structures.
- Other equipment can cause radio interference that affects your doorbell.
- Walls and ceilings will reduce the range.
- Weak batteries will reduce range. Replace every 12–18 months.
