Danfoss ICAD 600A-ICAD 1200A Motor Actuator without Cables
Specifications
- Input Voltage: 24 Volt DC
- Max Torque: 3 Nm
- Operating Voltage Range: 21V DC – 26.4V DC
- Terminal Box Colors: A-Black, B-Brown, C-Red, D-Orange, E-Yellow, F-Green, G-Blue, I-Black
Installation
When installing the ICAD, ensure to cross-tighten all 3 screws to ensure
equal tightening with a maximum torque of 3 Nm. Use a 24 Volt DC power source
only.
Terminal Box Setup
Refer to the color codes provided for the terminal box connections. Make
sure to observe the voltage drop in cables between the transformer and the
ICAD terminal box to maintain voltage within the specified range.
Programming the ICAD
- Power up the ICAD and wait for A1 to flash on the display.
- Hold down for 2 seconds to enter programming mode.
- Use the keypad to navigate through parameters and settings as required.
- To exit programming mode, hold down for 2 seconds.
Factory Reset
To perform a factory reset, disconnect power, press down and simultaneously
while reconnect power, then release the buttons.
The ICAD will indicate a reset by flashing A1 in the display.
FAQ
What should I do if the analogue input signal is out of range?
If an A3 alarm occurs due to the analogue input signal being out of range,
please refer to the ICAD instruction manual for troubleshooting steps.

- Uninterruptable Power Supply
Please observe cable voltage drop Distance between the applied DC transformer and the ICAD terminal box may cause a voltage drop. Cross section of cables and size of DC transformer must be calculated so that the voltage at all time at the ICAD terminal box*, both during standstill and during operation of ICAD, is within this range:
24 Volt DC ONLY
* Do not measure inside the ICAD itself
NOTE!
If media temperature is lower than -30 °C (-22 °F) it is mandatory to set
parameter i30 an i31.
