Troubleshooting
PROBLEM
Scratched top
| SOLUTION
The RC car comes with a protective plastic film that needs to be removed before using the car.
---|---
Steering not working properly| 1. Replace the batteries of the remote
with brand new ones and fully charge the car battery.
2. Turn off the switch on the transmitter, then on, and pair again. Make sure not to touch the throttle when pairing.
3. Clean the steering arm set and make sure the arm is still in place, and connected to the car.
4. Check the light of the transparent wire coming out of the car; it should be a solid red.
5. Unplug the wires connecting the servo and the ESC, then pair the car with the transmitter again.
This is to check the defective part; if the car pairs with the remote, then the servo might be the problem.
Reverse command not responding| When the car is moving forward to go in
reverse please execute the following commands on the remote: first throttle
push will bring the car to a stop and in neutral mode. The second throttle
push will make the car go in reverse. (please refer to Transmitter
Instructions in this User Manual)
The car going on its own and not responding correctly| Do not press any
buttons on the remote control while pairing with the car because it will
recognize that command every time.
Rebind the remote and car and turn them on within 3 seconds so you reset the commands and the car responds properly.
The car will not pair with the remote| 1. Our car has a thermal protection feature.
When the ESC detects that the temperature is too high, it will automatically start thermal protection.
Thus, it needs to be switched off and wait for a few minutes to cool the temperature down.
2. Keep the remote and the car a few feet away from each other while pairing.
3. Keep the remote and the car away from large metal objects while pairing so there is no interference.
4. Remind the remote control with the car, and check the light of the ESC (electronic speed controller) and remote control, it should be a solid red.
| 5. Unplug the wires connecting the servo and the ESC, then pair the car with the remote control again.
- If the car pairs with the remote, then the servo might be the problem.
- If the car still can’t pair with the remote, then the ESC might be the problem.
---|---
The wheels are not spinning properly| 1. Tighten the locknut (Part
Number N516-WJ02) that is holding the wheels in place.
2. Check whether the transmission dog bone (Part Number N516-WJ05) has fallen off or if any parts are missing.
3. If all parts are intact, but the rotating wheels do not turn left and right together, the differential may be broken and need to be replaced.
Stripping sound upon accelerating| 1. Inspect the car and make sure all the pieces are in place and no foreign objects are caught up in it.
Please refer to the schematic in this User Manual to properly check the parts.
2. Check the front and rear differentials (Part Number N516- ZJ06) if they are functioning properly with both the axles and main drive shaft.
Make sure that the gears of either the differential and/or main drive shaft (Part Number N516-ZJ05) are not stripped. Note: When the car is driving, the friction sound of the vehicle’s gears is normal and does not affect the service life of the car!
The battery/charger not working| Firstly, Plug in the charger
1. Solid red light on the charger – charger is plugged in.
2. Blinking red light – charger is defective. The charger is normal, then plug in the battery
3. Blinking green light on the charger – battery is plugged in and charging.
4. The green light on the charger is not on – the battery is defective.
5. The green light on the charger flashes and turns to a solid light after 3-4 hours of charging – the battery is fully charged.
Rebinding the remote control with the car| Turn on the remote control first and within 3 seconds turn on the car as well to rebind them; if not successful, repeat this action 2-3 times. If the pairing is still not successful, the remote and/or the ESC needs to be replaced.
Warranty
WARRANTY POLICY
- To guarantee you have the best experience we offer a 90-day warranty and lifetime technical support on all our products.
- HScopter has made every effort to ensure your product is as strong and durable as possible. However, it is still possible to break or cause damage by crashing or misuse. Most RC car parts are consumables and will wear with use (servo, differential, tires, shafts, bumpers, shocks, arms, etc). More extreme or frequent use will increase the wear rate of these components. Always check these parts before and after using your car and replace them before failure.
- All the parts of this car are available to be purchased separately, to allow you to get years of use from your RC truck. The bodyshell is not just for looks, it is also designed to protect vital areas of the running gear and electronics from damage.
If you have after-sales questions or you can’t determine which accessory has the problem by yourself, please contact us by emailing support@hoshitech.cn with the following information:

The warranty is only valid if the items were purchased directly from HScopter (purchases from third-party sellers will not be covered under the warranty). Please be advised that the HScopter won’t provide repair service but lifetime- free technical support.
