Product Usage Instructions

Removal of Engine Cover

  1. Gently pull up on the engine cover to dislodge the retaining clips starting from the front to the rear.
  2. Lift and set the engine cover aside.

Removal of Old Air Filter

  1. Loosen the two vertically positioned screws on the intake plenum using a T20 screwdriver.
  2. Pull up on the plenum to dislodge it from the airbox.
  3. Undo the retaining clips on the fresh air intake vent clamp using a flathead screwdriver.
  4. Release the hose retaining clip on the left side airbox.
  5. Loosen the top two airbox screws and lift up to disengage the ball-socket retainers.
  6. Rotate the airbox upwards to access the last two airboxscrews.
  7. Loosen and remove the old air filter, cleaning any debris inside the airbox.

Installation of Nahhas Tuning ProFlow Air Filter

  1. Insert the Nahhas Tuning ProFlow air filter in the same orientation as the original.

Reassembly in Reverse Order

  1. Close the air filter housing and secure four T20 screws.
  2. Re-seat three airbox ball sockets.
  3. Reattach the fresh air vent to the airbox and clips.
  4. Reattach the retaining clip on the left side if applicable.
  5. Secure two vertically positioned T20 screws.
  6. Perform a final inspection ensuring all components are securely fastened.

USING INSTRUCTION

AFMBZ-M1772-01 Air Filter Install Instructions (W213 MB E63 S AMG shown)
Applicable for select M177-powered vehicles

  1. Remove the Engine Cover

    • Gently pull up on the engine cover to dislodge the retaining clips. We recommend starting at the front and working your way to the rear clips.

  2. Remove the Old Air Filter-NAHHAS-TUNING-AFMBZ-M1772-01-ProFlow-Air-Filter-FIG-2

  3. Loosen (do not remove) the two vertically positioned screws on the intake plenum with a T20 screwdriver (#1).

  4. Gently pull up on the plenum to dislodge it from the airbox (#2).

  5. Undo the retaining clips on the fresh air intake vent clamp using a flathead screwdriver (#3).

  6. On the left (driver in USA) side airbox only, release the hose retaining clip, using a flathead screwdriver if needed (#4*).

  7. Loosen the top two airbox screws with a T20 screwdriver (#5).

  8. Lift up the airbox to disengage the three ball-socket retainers (#6).

  10. Loosen the two screws using a T20 screwdriver (#8).

  11. Open the airbox and remove the old air filter (#9). Clean up any debris inside the airbox (#10).-NAHHAS-TUNING-AFMBZ-M1772-01-ProFlow-Air-Filter-FIG-4

  12. Install Nahhas Tuning ProFlow Air Filter-NAHHAS-TUNING-AFMBZ-M1772-01-ProFlow-Air-Filter-FIG-5
    (10) Insert the correct Nahhas Tuning ProFlow air filter in the same orientation as the original.

  13. Reassemble in Reverse Order:

  14. Close the air filter housing and secure four T20 screws

  15. Re-seat three airbox ball sockets

  16. Reattach the fresh air vent to the airbox

  17. Reattach fresh air vent clips

  18. Reattach retaining clip (Left/Driver side only)

  19. Secure two vertically positioned T20 screws

  20. Perform a final inspection

  *  **a.** Ensure all six screws are securely fastened
  *  **b.** Ensure the LHS retaining clip is in place
  *  **c.** Ensure the airbox is securely seated
  *  **d.** Ensure the fresh air vent is securely seated on both ends
8. Position engine cover and seat retaining clips
9. Repeat on the opposite side
