Product Usage Instructions
Removing Engine Covers
Begin by removing the engine covers. Remove the small covers on the left
and right side by gently pulling up from the front and then the rear to
disengage the retaining clips. Similarly, remove the center large cover by
gently pulling up from the front, then the middle, then the rear corners, to
disengage the retaining clips.
Disconnecting Air Sensor Connectors
Disconnect air sensor connectors by pulling out the retaining tab, then
depressing the connector tab and pulling it away.
Removing Air Filter Housing
Loosen one air inlet duct clamp on each air filter housing/airbox (only
clamp closest to airbox) enough to allow for easy dislodging from the air
filter housing. Lift up on the left or right airbox to partially dislodge from
the engine and pull straight away from the air ducts. Repeat this on the
opposite side air filter housing.
Replacing Air Filter
Use a T25 torx bit to remove 4 screws from each air filter housing (8
screws total). Separate the airbox from the cover and remove the old air
filter by simply pulling it out. Place the new air filter into the housing in
the same orientation as the original filter. Repeat this for the opposite
side.
Re-installation
- Close the air filter housing and secure the screws.
- Slide the airbox into air ducts and press down to secure it into place.
- Tighten air duct clamps.
- Re-connect air sensors.
- Replace engine covers by placing them into position and patting down retaining clips.
- Enjoy increased efficiency and HORSEPOWER!
