BODY PANEL
Main Knob
Hold to power on/off. Double-click for wireless pairing (blinking light ring), single-click to switch tones. Rotate to adjust speaker volume (not output).
Volume Knob / Coil Switch
Adjusts pickup output volume. Pull to switch pickup coil from series to parallel connection.
Pickup Selector Switch
Choose between bridge pickup for bright tones (Position 1), middle/bridge-neck for balanced tones (Position 2), or neck pickup for warm tones (Position 3).
Neck Pickup
Pickup Coil Switching:
The Nova Go Sonic’s dual-coil pickup operates in series (default) or parallel
(pull knob). Parallel mode yields a single-coil-like tone with less noise.
Parallel Mode:
Pulling the knob switches the neck pickup to parallel, adjusting the output
level to the next stage, not the total output. This affects the final tone.
GET TO KNOW YOUR NOVA GO SONIC
Nova Go Sonic features a built-in speaker and effects processing system,
adaptable for various use scenarios. After powering on, the pickup signal is
processed through the effects system before output.
The Nova Go Sonic can also function as a traditional electric guitar. When
turned off, connect it using a 6.35mm jack to output the pickup signal
directly.
DEVICE CONNECTION
Install App
Download the Enya Music app for an enhanced playing and user experience.
After logging in as prompted, the system will then scan for nearby Enya smart
audio devices. Choose to connect to the Nova Go Sonic for editing.
If multiple Nova Go Sonic devices are nearby, for easier future connections,
you can rename your Nova Go Sonic in the app.
App Interface
- Menu Switching – Displays the current page. Click to access different option pages. By default, the system enters the Guitar Tone Options upon startup.
- Tone Preset Storage Groups (Banks) – Shows the currently active Bank. Click to switch between different Banks.
- Tone Preset Data – Each Bank contains four presets. Select by clicking, and proceed to further editing.
- Battery Level
- Device ID
- Firmware Version
Tone Preset Switching
The Nova Go Sonic has four preset storage groups (Banks), each indicated by
the main knob’s light in green, blue, cyan, and purple. These can be switched
by clicking the main knob.
Within each group, there are four preset data (Presets), which can only be
selected and switched through the app.
Switch Tone Presets via App
Click the upper circular area to change Banks. Tap the lower image area to select a Preset within the current Bank. Selected Banks and Presets will be highlighted.
Tone Preset Management
After selecting a Preset, you can edit its tone preset information:
- View the currently active Bank and Preset.
- Edit the effect parameters for the current Preset.
- Replace the current Preset with one from the cloud.
- Rename the current tone preset and edit its image.
- Upload the current Preset to the cloud.
Preset Replacement
In the Guitar Tones section, select a Preset file and click Replace to open
the cloud tone interface.
After entering the cloud tone library interface, you can choose between Custom
Tones and Official Tones. Click Replace to download your selection. In Custom
Tones, you can also search by author name or tone name. Clicking Replace will
completely overwrite the existing data at that location.
Preset Parameter Editing
In the Guitar Tones menu, select a preset and click Edit to adjust its
parameters. Nova Go Sonic has six effects: Noise Reduction, Speaker
Simulation, EQ, Modulation, Delay, and Reverb. Rotate the knob to adjust:
clockwise to increase, counterclockwise to decrease. For EQ, slide up to
increase, down to decrease. In the effects chain, click to select and adjust
effects; a highlighted module indicates selection. Slide to turn effects
on/off; inactive modules appear higher and darker.
Effect Type Switching
When selecting certain effect modules, options appear in the top left,
indicating multiple effect types available for that module.
Switchable effect modules include Modulation (MOD) with choices of Chorus,
Tremolo, and Vibrato; and Amplifier (AMP) with Deluxe (Clean) and SLO
(Distortion) options.
Tone Saving
After adjusting the tone, use the save button in the top right corner to store
the tone preset, replace the image, and rename it. If changes to the current
Preset are detected, clicking the back button in the top left corner prompts a
save confirmation. Also, if the Preset is saved without a custom image upload,
the system automatically updates the image in the app to indicate successful
preset changes.
Note: The system only supports input of English letters and some special
characters.
STRING REPLACEMENT
Remove the rubber strap on the back of the body to access the string holes.
Remove & install strings through the holes.
Tighten the strings and wind them around the tuning knobs to complete the
string replacement.
CAUTION
- replacement of a battery with an incorrect type that can defeat a safeguard (for example, in the case of some lithium battery types);
- disposal of a battery into fire or a hot oven, or mechanically crushing or cutting of a battery, that can result in an explosion;
- leaving a battery in an extremely high temperature surrounding environment that can result in an explosion or the leakage of flammable liquid or gas;
- a battery subjected to extremely low air pressure that may result in an explosion or the leakage of flammable liquid or gas.
NECK ADJUSTMENT
The Nova Go Sonic’s neck is made of carbon fiber, offering better stability
than wood. However, prolonged exposure to certain environments may still cause
deformation. Considering some users’ preference for personalized sting action,
Nova Go Sonic retains a traditional guitar truss rod for neck adjustment.
