Safety instructions
- The product is intended for private, non-commercial use only.
- Do not use the product near heaters, other heat sources or in direct sunlight.
- Protect the product from dirt, moisture and overheating and use it in dry rooms only.
- As with all electrical products, this device should be kept out of the reach of children.
- Do not drop the product and do not expose it to any major shocks.
- The battery is integrated and cannot be removed. Dispose of the product by legal regulations.
- Do not open the device or continue to operate it if it becomes damaged.
- Do not operate the product outside the power limits given in the specifications.
- Do not continue to operate the product if it is visibly damaged.
- Children must not play with the device.
- Cleaning and user maintenance must not be carried out by children without supervision.

Start-up and operation
Note Use only original accessories (or accessories approved by Hama) to avoid damage to the product.
Warning – magnet
- Keep bank cards or similar cards with magnetic strips away from the magnet. The data on the cards’ magnetic strip could be damaged or completely deleted.
- People with pacemakers should keep away from magnets. The magnet can negatively affect the function of the pacemaker.
Charging the battery
Warning – rechargeable battery
- Only use suitable charging devices or USB ports for charging.
- Do not use defective chargers or USB ports and do not attempt to repair them.
- Do not overcharge the product or allow the battery to completely discharge.
- Avoid storing, charging and using in extreme temperatures and at extremely low atmospheric pressures (such as at high altitudes).
- When stored over a long period of time, batteries should be charged regularly (at least every three months).
- The product contains a rechargeable battery.
- Fully charge the product once before using it for the first time.
- Connect the supplied USB charging cable to the USB connection (1) on the product.
- Connect the free plug on the USB charging cable to a suitable USB charger.
- To do this, consult the operating instructions for the USB charger you are using.
- The status LED (3) lights up solid red during the charging process. Once the battery is fully charged, the status LED (3) lights up green.
Note – charging process/battery capacity
- Acomplete charging cycle takes about 90 minutes.
- The input stylus’s rechargeable battery can be charged both when it is switched on and off.
- If the battery capacity is less than 10%, the status LED (3) flashes slowly blue and after around 10 seconds switches itself off automatically.
The actual battery life will vary depending on how you use the device, the settings and the environmental conditions (batteries have a limited life).
Note – Automatic switch-off
- Please note that the input stylus will switch itself off after 5 minutes of inactivity.
Note – Damage to the display
To avoid damage to the display, please note the following points:
- Avoid exerting excessive pressure on the display with the input stylus.
- Ensure that the display and input stylus are clean before use. Small pieces of dirt such as grains of sand can cause scratches when the input stylus is being used.
Note – Display protector / protective glass
Using display protectors / protective glass can lead to the function of the
input stylus being restricted.
- Press the On/Off switch (2) to switch the input stylus on. The status LED (3) lights up solid blue.
- Press the On/Off switch (2) to switch the input stylus off. The status LED (3) goes out.
Care and maintenance
Only clean this product using a lint-free, slightly damp cloth and do not use
any harsh cleaners.
