**
Plug in the extender with the included power adapter.
Device
Power Adapter
Wait for the extender to power up and for the LED lights to turn solid.
(Approx. 2-3 minutes)
*Pair the extender with your AT &T 5G Gateway.**
Wireless Method
Step 1 For the best experience, place the extender next to the 5G gateway
during setup.
Step 2 Press WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup) button on the back of the 5G
gateway. The Wi-Fi LED will flash blue.
Step 3 Press WPS button on the back of the extender
Step 4 The Wi-Fi LED on both the extender and 5G gateway will change to
solid blue and the Mesh LED will illuminate.
Step 5 Setup complete, move extender to desired location.
*Connection with AT&T Internet Air™ for Business 5G Gateway required (gateway and internet service sold separately).
Wi-Fi extender placement and proximity.
The extender should be placed within wireless range of the 5G gateway, no more than 30 feet away.
The design and structure of your environment may impact performance. For best
results, position the extender closer so the Mesh LED illuminates green.
Connect your devices to the extender’s Wi-Fi or Ethernet ports.
Network name & password
The extender will share the same network name and password as the 5G gateway
it’s paired with.
Web UI Settings
You can manage additional settings from the Web UI of your 5G gateway.

Note: If the Mesh LED is blue or red, you might try relocating the extender closer to the gateway or extender it’s paired with to get a stronger mesh connection.
Alternative pairing method
Ethernet
Step 1 Connect one end of an Ethernet cable in the main gateway port of
your choice.
Step 2 Connect the other end to the Ethernet port of your choice on your
extender.
Step 3 The Mesh LED on the extender will illuminate

Complete firmware update
Auto-Update
Your Wi-Fi extender will periodically check for updates, including after each
device power cycle. Most updates will be automatically installed overnight. If
an update requires manual installation, the system light will illuminate solid
blue until the update has been completed.
Manual Update
Step 1 Use a web browser to access the Web UI of the main 5G gateway.
Note: You can find the default web address on the gateway label.
Step 2 From the dashboard, click the Wi-Fi Extender tile.
Step 3 Click Check for update next to the device name.
Step 4 The status will update to indicate if an update is available.
Step 5 Click Download and Update A progress bar will appear, and the System LED Light will flash blue during the installation process.
Step 6 Your Wi-Fi extender will power cycle upon successful completion.
Note: Your internet access may be momentarily interrupted while the installation is taking place, and the device is rebooting.
Network performance and internet speeds may vary due to proximity, connection method, or number of extenders connected. No more than three extenders recommended. Internet service sold separately. 5G available only in 5G coverage areas.
