INSTALLATION

  1. Install toilet as per manufacturers’ instructions. (Page 1)

  2. Attach brass cradle (X) to the front right side of the wood tank (A?) using two S/S pinhead screws (T3). Make sure the cradle is positioned over the inside of the tank. Using the S hook (S) attach the chain (C) to the right side of the flush arm (A). Attach handle (Y) to the chain. (FIG 1)

  3. Check and make sure the refill tube (A5) is inserted and securely connects the fill valve (A1) to the flush valve (A2). Insert the Fill Valve (A 1) and Flush Valve (A2) into the tank liner (A6) and secure using the provided plastic lock nuts (A3, A4). (FIG 2)

  4. To mount molding bracket (D), locate the centerline on the wall behind the bowl and mark the tank height using the instructions on page 1. We recommend that the bottom edge of the molding bracket (D) be about 60 inches from the floor for a regular 16-inch toilet bowl. Secure molding bracket (D) to studs with mounting screws (T2). If necessary, drill holes on the molding bracket (D), make sure not to drill within 1 inch of the perimeter. This area will be exposed.
(FIG 3) If studs are not accessible, a wood backing can be installed between the studs. The backing must be installed behind the finished wall to provide a secure material to mount the molding bracket (D).

  5. Align hanger brackets (B) on the wood tank to the inside notch of the molding bracket (D) and hang the wood tank (A?) onto the molding bracket (D). (Fig 4)

  6. Fasten conversion panel (F1) with rubber seal washer (R) attached to the bowl with mounting bolts (R1 ), washer (R2), and winged locknut (R3). Place the wood cover plate (F) on top of the conversion panel (F1) and secure it with cover plate screws (T4). (Fig 5)

  7. Slide brass slip joint nut (Z6) followed by plastic joint washer (Z5) and large decorative nut (J) with rubber washer (K) into the top end of the flush tube (G). Inset the rubber water restrictor (Z?) inside the flush tube (G) and loosely attach the large decorative nut (J) to the receiving thread of the flush valve (A2) on the wood tank. Slightly Tighten all joints. (FIG 6)

  8. Slide medium decorative nut (H) followed by the plastic slip joint washer (Z5) to the bottom end of the 48″ flush line (G) and loosely attach to the receiving thread of the conversion panel (F1 ). (FIG 5)

  9. Install the nipple (P) to the water fitting from the wall. Make sure to wrap both sides of the nipple (P) with thread sealer. Slide the flange (Q) onto the nipple (P) and install the shut-off valve (N). (FIG 7)

    1. Slide the small decorative nut (V) from the opposite end of the fill line (L) (noncollared end). Inset the cone washer (W) between the fill line (L) and the small decorative nut (V) and loosely attach the small decorative nut (V) to the receiving thread of the fill valve (A 1 ). (FIG 7) Slide bracket (U) onto fill line (L) and secure to wall using provided screws (T). Use the coupler (E) to connect the 12-inch flex line (0) to the fill line (L) and attach it to the shut-off valve (N). (FIG 8) Tighten all connections with a wrench and make sure all connections are squarely aligned to ensure no leakage. Do a final check to make sure all connections are tight.
  10. Turn off the shut-off valve (N) fill the tank to its waterline and test the flush system, checking for leaks. Water level is pre-adjusted from the factory and in some cases may need to be re-adjusted.
CAUTION: Before turning on water please make sure all parts are secure and installed properly. Never use abrasives, detergents, or acids to clean the unit as they will damage the unit and void the warranty.
