Buttons Layout
The Nintendo Switch buttons layout includes Up, Down, Left, Right, Y, X, B,
A, L, R, ZL, ZR, +, -, Capture, Home, and Stick buttons.
How to Connect
- Toggle the Mode Switch to the gaming platform you want to use (Nintendo Switch or PC).
- Connect the device to the Nintendo Switch dock or your gaming PC using the controller cable provided at the back of the device.
Additional Information
- Internet connection is required to install the driver software for XIInput on PC.
- The Flex Controller is not compatible with DirectInput.

- This device cannot be used with Nintendo Switch Lite.
- This device cannot be used with Handheld mode and Tabletop mode of
- Nintendo Switch, but be used only TV mode of Nintendo Switch.
- Make sure that your Nintendo Switch is updated to the latest system firmware.
- The buttons on the top of this device are intended to assist the user in operating the menu screen and settings, and not for playing games.
- This device does not support the following functions installed in Joy-Con(L)/(R).

To use this device on the Windows® 8.1 platform, you need the driver software.

How to Connect
- Toggle the Mode Switch to the gaming platform to use.
- Connect the device to the Nintendo Switch dock or your gaming PC via the controller cable on the back of this device.
- Connect the joystick* to the USB port, and the switch to the 3.5mm jack.

- Only switches having 3.5mm plug can be connected.

Note
- All buttons of the above game controllers can not be used.
- Only the left stick is available when the controller is connected to the USB port for L stick.
- Only the right stick is available when the controller is connected to the USB port for R stick.
How to Get Flex Controller Settings App
Flex Controller Settings App can be downloaded on the website of Flex
Controller.
This app has functions of changing button assignment and joystick settings. Note that these functions may cause an input delay.
Functions of Flex Controller Settings App
- Flex Controller Settings App (Windows® only) can be used to change button assignments and joystick settings for the switches connected to this device.
- Up to six assignment profiles for each platform can be stored in the memory of the device, and can be switched by pressing the MODE button on the top of the device.
- The profile display LED next to the MODE button indicates the profile in use (the leftmost profile is Profile No. 1).
How to Connect
- Toggle the Mode Switch on the top of the device to “Nintendo Switch”.
- Connect the USB plug on the back of this device to the USB port of the Windows® PC which is installed Flex Controller Settings App.
