Electrical safety: Network camera power supply voltage is DC SV current 2A or 1A. Normal operating temperature range is 0 ° C to 45 ° C. Do not place the camera to damp, dusty, extremely hot or cold environment.
Electrical safety: Before using the camera, please read this manual carefully and check whether the power supply is correct. When installing the camera, avoid focusing on strong light (such as lighting, sunlight, etc.), otherwise it will easily cause the picture to be overexposed. Focusing on strong light for a long time will cause damage to the lens sensor chip. When cleaning the device, use a blower to remove dust on the lens or filter; use a soft, dry cloth to clean the surface of the network camera. Do not use volatile solvents, such as alcohol, benzene, thinner, etc., to avoid damage to the surface coating.

Using the Camera:

  1. Preparation
    Make sure you have a wireless connection in your home and as well as its corresponding password.Interthings IPC138 Smart Indoor Camera -

  2. Downloading the App
    Please download and install the “Tuya Smart” app ( )before setting up the camera. Search “Tuya” from the Google Play Store (if you have an Android device) or from the App Store (if you have an iOS device).

  3. Powering Up
    Connect the camera and USB wall mount using the USB cable.
    Once the camera is receiving power, the red indicator light will be lit.

  4. Registration and Login
    Once the app has finished downloading, click the Tuya Icon to launch the app.
    New users need to register an account for free according to the prompts.

  5. Adding Devices:
    5.1 Resetting the Camera

Important notice:
Get a paper clip pin first, then plug in the IP camera (in solid red), wait around 15 seconds then insert the pin for 5 seconds (see below diagram) and you’ll hear a reset success sound, wait for another 25-30 seconds until the red light flashing, reset is done. 5.2 Adding the device Manually
Power on the camera and make sure your phone is connected to a 2.4GHz WiFi. Open the APP, click the “+” symbol in the upper right corner, and choose the “Smart Camera (WiFi)” Icon and follow the instructions step by step until the device is successfully connected to the network.
Tip: The connection will fail if the Wi-Fi Password is incorrect. If you experience any difficulties, please go back to STEP
5.1 and reset the camera.

Let the camera scan the QR code s shown in the following figure:

Interthings IPC138 Smart Indoor Camera - scanning Note: When scanning the QR code to connect the WIFI, please adjust the distance properly, until you hear the prompt sound which means the QR code is scanned successfully. Then can click “I Heard Prompt” to the next step.

Connecting process begin. Do not turn off Wi-Fi Camera or phone while connecting. Wait for connection process to complete. Once device has been successfully added, name the device what you would like it to be called in the app. The Wi-Fi Camera is ready for use.

 APP application:

Open the APP and select the connected device to enter the preview screen.

Click the setting menu entry switch to enter the function setting menu:

My camera Device name. User can change or edit the name of the device.
Device Information Information about the device. User can check the

owner and device ID, etc.
Tap-to-Run and Automation| User can associate the device with other smart devices.
Private Mode| After enabling privacy function, the camera goes into sleep mode.
Basic Function Settings| Basic setting of live view, like screen flip and time watermark.
IR Night Vision| There are three types of IR night vision: auto/on/off.
Detection Alarm Settings| Turn on/off the motion detection alarm/motion tracking, set the sensitivity low/mid/high. Set the alarm timing.

Purchase VAS Purchase of value-added service.
Offline Notification If turn on the offline notification, a

notification will be sent if the device stayed offlines.
FAQ & Feedback| Frequently asked questions and feedbacks.
Share Device| User can give the access to the particular device to trusted people.
Add to Home Screen| Generate desktop shortcuts
Device Update| User can view the software version here. If there is a new version will be prompted here, user can set the automatically update.
Remove Device| Remove the device when it is no longer in use. This operation is also recommended when changing the Wi-Fi connection.

Check the alarm information:

After turning on the motion detection alarm, the device will detect people or objects moving in front of the device lens and take photos. The device loaded with SD card will also record a video. User can view the motion detection alarm information and photos in the app from “Message Center”. The video can be played back in the SD card function or in the APP panel.

Cloud storage service function:

User can purchase the cloud storage service of the device (this function may charge fee, depending on the plan selected by the user), and all videos of the device will be saved in the cloud server and can be viewed at any time.
Perform the following operations to obtain cloud storage service:
Click Settings, select “Purchase VAS”, subscribe on the Video Cloud Storage page. Then follow the prompts to purchase services.
