  • Electrical safety: Network camera power supply voltage is DC 5V current 1A. The normal operating temperature range is 0 ° C to 45 ° C. Do not place the camera to damp, dusty, extremely hot or cold environment.
  • Electrical safety: Before using the camera, please read this manual carefully and check whether the power supply is correct. When installing the camera, avoid focusing on strong light (such as lighting, sunlight, etc.), otherwise it will easily cause the picture to be overexposed. Focusing on strong light for a long time will cause damage to the lens sensor chip. When cleaning the device, use a blower to remove dust on the lens or filter; use a soft, dry cloth to clean the surface of the network camera. Do not use volatile solvents, such as alcohol, benzene, thinner, etc., to avoid damage to the surface coating.

Reset| Press and hold the reset button for 5 seconds to reset the camera

  • The device supports a TF card with capacity of 16GB to 128GB to store video files.

  • It is recommended that the TF card with speed higher than Class6.

  • Please Insert the TF card into the TF card slot of the device in the correct direction as shown in the following figure:

  • It is recommended to back up the data in the TF card first, and then format the card before putting it into the device for use.

  • When loading the TF card, please turn off the power of the device first.

APP Installation

APP acquisition and installation

Download:

  • Please go to the APP Store (Android to Play Store, Apple to APP Store) to search for “Tuya Smart”, or scan the QR code on the package, download and install the APP ( ).
  • New users need to register an account for free according to the prompts.

Add the device:

  • By QR code: Power on the camera and make sure your phone is connected to a 2.4GHz network.

  • Enter your current WIFI account password then click Next.

  • Note: When scanning the QR code to connect the WIFI, please adjust the distance properly, until you hear the prompt sound which means the QR code is scanned successfully. Then can click “I Heard Prompt” to the next step.Interthings-IPC176-Smart-Outdoor-Camera-IN-IPC176-FIG-1 \(9\)
  • Connecting process begins. Do not turn off the Wi-Fi Camera or phone while connecting. Wait for the connection process to complete.
  • Once the device has been successfully added, name the device that you would like it to be called in the app. The Wi-Fi Camera is ready for use.

Click the setting menu entry switch to enter the function setting menu:

My camera Device name. Users can change or edit the name of the device.
Device Information Information about the device. Users can check the

owner and device ID, etc.
Tap-to-Run and Automation| Users can associate the device with other smart devices.
Basic Function Settings| Basic setting of live views, like screen flip, time watermark, talk mode and Anti-Flicker.
Working mode| Users can choose power saving or continuous mode.
PIR| Choose the PIR detection off or Low/Medium/High sensitivity.
Power Management settings| Checking the Battery remaining and power source, set the low battery alarm threshold.

VAS| Purchase of value-added service: Cloud Storage / Message notification / Phone Notification.

Device Update| Users can view the software version here. If there is a new version that will be prompted here, the user can set the automatic update.
Remove Device| Remove the device when it is no longer in use. This operation is also recommended when changing the Wi-Fi connection.

Check the alarm information:

  • After turning on the motion detection alarm, the device will detect people or objects moving in front of the device lens and take photos.
  • The device loaded with SD card will also record a video.
  • User can view the motion detection alarm information and photos in the app from “Message Center”.

Cloud storage service function:

  • Users can purchase the cloud storage service of the device (this function may charge a fee, depending on the plan selected by the user), and all videos of the device will be saved in the cloud server and can be viewed at any time.
  • Perform the following operations to obtain cloud storage service:
  • Click Settings, select “Purchase VAS”, and subscribe on the Video Cloud Storage page. Then follow the prompts to purchase services.
