PRODUCT OVERVIEW

1. ADD OIL:
   Place unit on a flat surface, open access panel, remove oil fill cap/dipstick. With provided funnel, add 0.38 L of SAE 10W B30 oil.. Replace fill cap/dipstick.

2. ADD FUEL:
   Fill with fresh, unleaded fuel.
   Capacity: 4.2 L. Min. 87 Octane, 0-10% Ethanol

3. STARTING MX2000iS:
   3a: Disconnect any electrical devices and Switch LOW IDLE to OFF
   3b: Move generator to well ventilated area.
   3c: Turn fuel cap air vent to “ON”..
   3d: Turn MULTI-Switch to START/CHOKE position if engine is cold. Use RUN position if engine is warm

4. Once engine starts and stabilizes, rotate MULTI-Switch from “Choke/Start” position to RUN.

5. XTO STOP:
   5a: Disconnect electrical items from unit.
   5b: Rotate MULTI-Switch to STOP
   5c: Tum fuel cap air vent to “OFF”

**DANGER**

Using a generator indoors CAN KILL YOU IN MINUTES. Generator exhaust contains carbon monoxide. This is a poison you cannot see or smell.

NEVER use inside a home or garage, EVEN IF door and windows are open.

Only use OUTSIDE and far away from windows, doors, and vents.

PARALLELING MADE EASY! QUICK & SIMPLE SET-UP:

1. Make sure all power cords are disconnected from generators
2. Connect the two generators with the parallel cables supplied, Red to Red/Black to Black/Ground to Ground connection. NOTE: Only use factory supplied cables
3. Start both units (refer to starting procedures in manual)
4. One of the units can be used for maximum power output of 3000 watts
5. Do not disconnect parallel cables while generator is running and power cords connected\

STOP

CAUTION! Your generator has been shipped without engine oil. DO NOT add fuel or start the engine before adding oil. See owner’s manual for instructions
