SIMPLIFY INSTALLATION
While Cutting Costs and Labor
- Running wire from the controller to field valves can be time-consuming, labor-intensive, and expensive.
- The Hunter Wireless Valve Link System uses LoRa® Technology so you can easily connect valves without running additional wires or cutting into hardscape.
Simple, Wire-Free Connections
- Works with Hunter ICC2 and HCC Controllers and is compatible with Centralus™ and Hydrawise® Software
- Adds up to 54 valves (+P/MV) up to 2,000′ line-of-sight or more with a Repeater
- License-free LoRa Technology enables wireless communication directly to the valve box — no copper field wiring is required
- Combines with conventional ICM or two-wire EZDS Modules for ultimate flexibility
Installation and Maintenance Flexibility for Landscapes of Any Size
- When used with modular ICC2 and HCC Controllers, the Wireless Valve Link allows for quick, easy system expansion with a simple plug-in module.
SYSTEM COMPONENTS
- The Wireless Valve Link System includes four main components that work together to connect and activate irrigation valves.
- The optional Antenna Extension Kit and Solar Panel Kit can be added to the system to ensure uninterrupted operation.
WVOM App
- Set up and perform diagnostics on the Wireless Valve Link System with the free Bluetooth® enabled WVOM App.
- Simply download it using an iOS® or Android® device, then use it to program Wireless Valve Links on any current or future project.
Wireless Valve Links
- Add valves up to 2,000′ line-of-sight and beyond without the need for new valve wiring.
- Wireless Valve Links in 1-, 2-, and 4-station configurations use license-free LoRa radio to connect ICC2 and HCC Controllers to distant valves without excavation.
- All WVL devices are waterproof (IP68) and are powered by two 9 V DC alkaline batteries with a solar option.
Wireless Valve Output Module
- Expand systems quickly and easily without running wire or cutting into the hardscape. Simply insert the Wireless Valve Output Module into the controller to communicate with 54 wireless stations (+P/MV) in the field.
- A hole saw for drilling a hole in the valve box lid is included. For maximum flexibility, the Wireless Valve Output Module can coexist with conventional and two-wire technology in the same controller.
Repeater
- Double the coverage area and bypass obstacles that might block radio signals with the solar-powered Repeater.
- This powerful device relays the Wireless Valve Output Module signals to distant Wireless Valve Links in both directions and includes a universal wall/pole mount bracket.
Accessories
Solar Panel Kit
- Eliminate the need to change alkaline batteries every season. The Solar Panel Kit provides continuous power via a rechargeable battery with an expected lifespan of 5 years or more.
Antenna Extension Kit
- Extend the range of the Wireless Valve Link System using the Antenna Extension Kit.
- This helpful accessory allows you to get around signal-blocking obstacles and is a requirement for installations in metal enclosures or cabinets to get the wireless signal outside the metal box.
THE ULTIMATE in Wire-Free Irrigation Control
- The Wireless Valve Link System eliminates some of the biggest costs in irrigation installations: copper wire and excavation.
- Once connected, wireless signals extend up to 2,000′ direct line-of-sight and are immune to issues that commonly afflict wired systems, such as wire degradation and lightning damage.
- The innovative Wireless Valve Link System provides a convenient, flexible solution for complex landscapes.
- Using this advanced wireless valve technology, it’s now possible to cross sidewalks, driveways, and parking lots wirelessly, simplifying installation so you can save time, money, and labor.
