Product
Outdoor waterproof Gigabit PoE Extender 1 (PoE IN) into 1 (PoE OUT) 25W
Description
Description Ethernet and PoE connections both restrict cable distances to 100 meters between network ports. To overcome this distance limit, network installers can simply connect a PoE Extender in-line with the Cat-5e or Cat-6 cable (Outdoor type).
With a Gigabit PoE Extender, PDs (such as IP Security Cameras, wireless access points) can be installed at greater distances than 100 meters from one another. By connecting the PoE Extender for every extra 100 meters of cable, both Ethernet and PoE can be extended up to 300 meters, depending on PDs power required and power source.
The Gigabit PoE Extender does not require any additional power supply and the connected PDs are fed by a single PoE switch or mid-span, which simplifies installation. The PoE Extender offers two Gigabit Ethernet ports, which are both configured automatically for link speed, duplex and crossover and the full-rate network throughput is maintained.
The PoE IN connection accepts power on pins 1,2.3,6 and 4,5.7,8 and conforms to IEEE802.3af/at PoE specification, Mode A and Mode B. PoE OUT connection provides up to 25W with an IEEE802.3AT 30W input. PoE Out provides power on pins 1,2(V+) and 3,6(V-).
Features:
- Compatible with IEEE802.3af and IEEE802.3at.
- Extends the range of PoE and Gigabit Ethernet an additional 100 meters.
- No additional power supply is required .
- Automatically detects and protects equipment from being damaged by incorrect installation.
- Gigabit Full-rate network throughout the whole extended distance.
- Wall-Mountable design.
- Easy plug-and-play installation.
- IP66 Rated (Fully Weatherproof and Outdoor Rated).
