Product Usage Instructions

1. Install Batteries for Outdoor Sensor Array

Make sure the red LED flashes every 16 seconds. If not, check the battery installation.

2. Plug in Adapter for Indoor Console

Connect the indoor console with the power adapter. Do not press any button until outdoor data is received.

3. Sensors Verification Before Installation

Close the battery door, tighten the set screw, and ensure the sensor LED indicator lights and flashes every 16 seconds.

4. Outdoor Integrated Sensor Installation

Install the outdoor transmitter securely to prevent misreading data in windy conditions. Follow the specified distance guidelines for installation.

5. APP WiFi Simple Setup Guide

Follow the steps to connect the device to WiFi:

1. Open WiFi list on your phone and select WLAN of Sainlogic.
2. If connection succeeds, it will display “Connected to the Sainlogic device.”
3. If connection fails, it will display “Pls connect the Sainlogic wifi device.”
4. Fill in the required station ID and key for weather data upload.
5. Disconnect from console WiFi and reconnect to router after setup.
6. Wait for data updates to be visible online.
7. Real-time data may take 1-5 minutes for historical data to be available.
8. For Android 12.0 and above, turn off mobile network during WiFi configuration.
9. Download the Sainlogic app from Google Play or Apple App Store.
10. Click Save key and check status display for successful connection.

Sensors Verification

Sensors Verification Before Installation

Put the outdoor sensor array and the indoor console at the same location in good ventilating condition.

1. Verify temperature and humidity. The difference between indoor and outdoor temperatures should be within 4°F/2°C. The difference between indoor and outdoor humidity should be within 10%. Usually the indoor temperature is a little bit higher than outdoor temperature due to warming up effect of the backlight. Let the unit stabilize for at least 30 minutes.
2. Verify wind speed and wind direction. Spin the wind cup and the wind vane and make sure the wind speed and wind direction information on display updates.
3. Verifying Rain gauge. Tip the sensor array back and forth several times. You should hear a “clicking” sound within the rain gauge. Verify the rain reading on the display console is not reading 0.00. Each “click”represents 0.01 inches of rainfall.

Outdoor Integrated Sensor Installation

Please ensure that the outdoor transmitter is fixed particularly tightly, otherwise windy conditions cause the transmitter to shake and thus misread the rainfall data. Install the sensor array at least four times the distance of the height of the tallest obstruction

APP WiFi Simple Setup Guide

• Note: You can fill in one or both of wunderground and weathercloud Station ID and key to upload the weather data.
• Note: When Input station ID and key, copy and paste source text strictly (Take notice of space and upper or lower case of letters here).
• Note: Select “other” in model name list of WU registration and any link type.
• Note: Once the Wi-Fi network setup is complete, disconnect your device from the console WiFi and connect back to the router. If wifi connection and data uploading are successful, the icons and in the console will display solid.
• Note: Sometimes you need to wait about 30 minutes to see updated data online.
• Note: After the APP real-time data comes out, it takes 1-5 minutes for historical data to be available.
• Note: You are advised to turn off the mobile network if you are using a Android 12.0 or upper version device for wifi configuration.
