Warning:
- Tonneau cover must be completely secure in the closed position or opened position while driving. DO NOT DRIVE with the cover in the partially opened position.
- Clean the debris before folding the tonneau cover.
- Professional installation would be highly recommended.
- Period check to ensure all clamps remain secure and tight.
- Remove the tonneau cover before towing the truck from the rear.
- Do not drive without safety clamps.
- Check the hinge before folding or unfolding during installation. If any damage is found, do not use the cover and contact us.
- The tailgate signal light may interfere with parking sensors or activate trailer mode.
- Secure wire harness in safe areas to avoid pinching, splicing, overheating, and any potential moving parts under or around the underside of the truck.
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

Step 1:
- Clean the bulkhead and bed rail before installation.
- For Tacoma trucks stick the seal sticker on the bulkhead bar.
- Sick the seal strip onto the bulkhead.

Step 2:
- Place cover assembly on the front truck bed rail against the cab. Leave the wire harness out of the truck bed.
- Release safety buckles.

Step 3:
- Fully unfold the cover towards the rear.
- Ensure the cover aligns on the truck bed.

Step 4:
- Carefully refold the cover without moving the position on the truck bed.

Step 5:
- Pull down the front clamp to a vertical position.
- Loosen the knob and slide the front clamp to the bed rail.
- Stick the clamp pad to the mounting position on the bed rail.
- Hook the J-shaped clamp under the metal bed rail lip and tighten the knob.
Note:
Hand tighten ONLY. DO NOT over-tighten.

Step 6:
- Loosen the safety clamp and attach it to the bed rail lip on both sides.
- Hand tighten the knob clockwise. DO NOT use a wrench or overtighten.
- Adjust the strap to the proper length. and pull the the other end of the strap to tight.

Step 7:
Carefully unfold the cover and secure the rear clamps.- Pull down the rear clamp to a vertical position.
- Slide the rear clamp to the bed rail.
- Stick the clamp pad to the mounting position on the bed rail.
- Turn the clamp handle to adjust the rear clamp to the proper length.
- Hook the J-shaped clamp under the metal bed rail lip and push the clamp handle to a vertical position.
Note:
The clamps may not be precisely vertical.

Step 8:
- Feed the tonneau cover wire through the corrugated tube.
- Run the tonneau cover wire harness down the gap between the cab and the truck bed.

Step 9:
- Disconnect 7-way trailer harness plug behind the rear bumper.
- Attach the modular wire harness to the 7-way trailer port and re-attach the plug to the second port on the modular wire harness.

Step 10:
- Run tonneau cover wire harness to the rear of the truck and attach it to the modular wire harness.

Step 11:
- Secure remaining loose/hanging wires to the truck body panel or frame rail using zip-ties.
- Temporarily remove the inner fender liner if equipped, and use the fender liner to isolate the wire harness.
Run the tonneau cover wire harness along the driver-side factory harness.
Secure the wire harness on the existing mounting holes on the body panel or frame rail.

Step 12

Some vehicles may activate trailer mode after the trailer wire is engaged, and automatically disable the rearward parking sensor.
This special circumstance requires self-wiring. -
Discard the 7-way modular trailer harness.

Cut off the 4-pin tonneau cover wire harness plug.

Wire the white wire to the vehicle frame’s electric ground pole.

Wire the yellow wire to the left turn/brake light (driver-side taillamp).
-
Wire the green wire to the right turn/brake light (passenger side taillamp).
-
Wire the brown wire to the tail light (rearward running light).

Fold up the Cover
- Open the tailgate.
- Release and fold up the rear clamps.
- Fold up the cover towards the front.
- Secure the safety buckles.
- After the tonneau cover is installed, periodic checks to ensure all clamps and buckles remain secure and tight.
Special Instruction for Trucks with Utility Rail
For trucks with utility rail:
- Slide mounting block into track rail.
- Attach front clamps onto the mounting block.
- Attachcentrer and rear clamps onto the mounting block.
- Tighten the set screw on the mounting block.
Special Instruction for Tacoma Trucks
- Remove the bulkhead bar.
- Stick the seal on both ends of the bar.
- Install the Buckhead bar back.
