Before Use

The InHandPlus Smartwatch analyzes the medication behavior based on video recording and measures the number of steps.
For safe and proper use of the product, be sure to read this manual before using it.

  • The contents of this user manual are based on the product’s default settings.
  • The contents of this user manual may differ from the actual product depending on the software version of the product or the specifications of the product’s model.
  • If problems occur due to the installation of apps not provided by InHandPlus, warranty service is not applicable.
  • Warranty service is not applicable if a user arbitrarily modifies registry settings or operating system software resulting in functionality and compatibility problems. If a user modifies the operating system arbitrarily, the product or app may not function properly.
  • The software and content used in this product are copyrighted works that are licensed for limited use under the agreement between InHandPlus and its copyright holder. Random extraction and use for other purposes, such as commercial use, is an act of infringing the copyright of the copyright holder, and all responsibility for this is on the user.
  • If a user arbitrarily disassembles or modifies the watch, the warranty service is not applicable.
  • This wireless device may cause radio interference during operation and should not be allowed to affect services related to human life safety.

Precautions for Wearing InHandPlus Smartwatch

  • No flammables.
  • Keep the smartwatch away from high temperature environments.
  • Skin reactions may occur due to prolonged exposure to irritation such as soap or sweat, or allergies, environmental factors, and other factors. If skin reactions occur, stop using the smartwatch immediately and check if the symptoms disappear for 2-3 days. If symptoms worsen, consult your doctor for appropriate measures.
  • If the smartwatch is in contact with your skin for a long time or if you do strenuous exercise
    while wearing the smartwatch, it may cause skin reactions due to friction and pressure. If you wear it for a long time, take off the smartwatch and do not wear it on your wrist for enough time.

Maintaining the Daily Life Waterproof and Dustproof Functions of the Product

This product has daily life waterproof and dustproof functions. To ensure that the waterproof and dustproof functions work properly, use the product with care to the following points. Failure to observe the following may result in product damage:

  • Avoid contacting the product with high pressure water and avoid exposing the product to sudden increases in water pressure such as diving.
  • Do not use the product when diving, diving in, other water sports activities, or in fast-flowing waters, except when swimming in a pool or in a shallow sea.
  • When the product is wet or your hands are wet, you may experience problems with the product’s performance or appearance. Wipe with a dry cloth and dry the product before using it.
  • If the product is wet with clean water, wipe it with a soft, clean cloth and dry it thoroughly. If exposed to liquids other than clean water (salt water, swimming pool water, soapy water, oils, perfumes, sunscreen, hand sanitizers, chemical products such as cosmetics, etc.), rinse it with clean water, wipe it with a soft, clean cloth and dry it thoroughly. Otherwise, there may be problems with the product’s performance or appearance.
  • Do not disassemble the product yourself. The waterproof or dustproof function may be impaired.
  • Do not expose the product to sudden air temperature changes or water temperature changes.
  • Do not use a heating device such as a hair dryer to dry the product.
  • Water resistance may be impaired in environments such as saunas.
  • When using the product in water, some functions, such as touch screen, may not work.
  • Wash your wrist and smartwatch band after exercising or sweating. For rubber bands, wash the band with clean water, wipe with a small amount of rubbing alcohol, and dry it thoroughly.
  • If the rubber band is heavily stained or foreign substances are accumulated, wipe it off with a soft toothbrush moistened with water.

Precautions for Overheating the Product

  • If you feel any discomfort caused by overheating while using the product, immediately stop using the product and remove it from your wrist. If the surface of the overheated product is in contact with the skin for a long time, it may result in low-temperature burns.
  • When the product overheats and reaches a certain temperature, the product automatically turns off to prevent product failure, skin irritation and damage, battery leakage, etc.

Name and Function of Each Part
Function of Each Part 

  1. Camera
    Video is taken when taking medication.

  2. Home Button (Power Button)
    Press and hold this button to turn the product on or off.
    When the screen is turned off, pressing this button turns the screen on.

  3. LCD and Touch Screen
    Works by sliding or tapping the screen.

  4. USB charging port
    Use this port for charging.

Charging the Battery

When using the smartwatch for the first time after purchasing it or after leaving it for a long time, charge the battery before using it.

Incorrect connection of the charger may cause product failure. Warranty service is not applicable to damages caused by incorrect usage.

  1. Open the charging port cover of the smartwatch and connect the small terminal (Micropubs) of the USB cable to the charging port.
  2. Connect the large terminal (USB Type A) of the USB cable to the charger.
  3. When charging is complete, ‘OK’ is displayed on the battery icon of the smartwatch.
  4. When charging is complete, remove the USB cable and firmly insert the cover of the charging port into place for waterproof.

Icons on the Screen

  1. Wi-Fi connection:   Connected,   Disconnected

  2. Bluetooth connection: Bluetooth connected

  3. Video recording: Video is being taken (The number is the number of seconds taken)

  4. Beacon connection: Beacon connected (The number is the number of connected
    Beacons)

  5. Battery level: The battery level is displayed (‘OK’ is displayed when charging is complete)

  6. Step count: Step count is displayed

Power On/Off

Turn on the smartwatch by pressing and holding the home button (power button) for 3 seconds.

When you turn on the power for the first time after purchase, you will see the screen related to the initial setup.

To turn off the power, press and hold the home button (power button)

Initial Setup

When the power is turned on for the first time , the InHandPlus Logo screen appears, followed by the screen related to the initial setup

The language setting screen appears. Just swipe sideways and select the language you want to use.

The screen appears to select the hand to wear the smartwatch.

When you decide which hand to wear the smartwatch, the screen orientation is switched accordingly. The wireless network (Wi-Fi) setting screen appears

Select the network you want to use and enter the password if required.

When entering a password, select and enter letters by sliding the keyboard on the screen from side to side

When the wireless network (Wi-Fi) setup is complete, the clock is displayed on the screen (the start screen)

Connecting Beacon

The smartwatch and beacon are connected via Bluetooth. Place the smartwatch and beacon
together within 1m range.

On the start screen, slide the screen downward to bring up the menu screen.

Click the Bluetooth icon on the menu screen to display the BLE setting screen.

On the BLE setting screen, select ‘Scan for BLE’ to search for beacons.

Click the beacon you want to connect to, and when the beacon connection is complete, the icon appears next to it.

Date and Time

You can set the date and time manually.

Select the Date & Time icon on the menu screen.

If you deactivate ‘Set automatically (network time)’ in Date & Time, you can manually set the date and time. (Default setting: ‘Set automatically’ enabled)

Beacon Information

You can check the connected beacon information by selecting the beacon icon.

Beacon’s battery level is indicated by the amount of electricity. (If less than 10%, the battery needs to be replaced)

Setting

You can check the font size, language, screen orientation, system update (software update), reset,
smartwatch general information.

Reset includes network reset, application reset, and factory reset. During the application reset and factory reset, the recorded video in the smartwatch is deleted. Be careful when resetting, as the recorded video may not be transmitted to the server and remains only on the smartwatch.

Video Transmission

The recorded video is automatically transmitted to the server when a wireless network (Wi-Fi) is
connected.

The company uses the collected personal information only for the following purposes:

  • Provision of services
  • The company does not process or reuse the recorded video for any purpose other than providing services.
