Charge the Player
Ensure to follow these steps to charge your MP3 player:
- Use only the provided 5V 1A charger for charging.
- To charge via computer, connect the device using the included charging cable.
- If the player is not used for an extended period, charge the battery at least once every 2 months.

Follow these steps for basic operations:
- Power On/Off: Hold the power button for about 3 seconds to turn the player on. Repeat the process to turn it off.
- Returning to Music Interface: Press the designated button to return to the music playing interface from any other screen.
- Volume Adjustment: Use the +/- buttons on the right side to adjust the volume.

Only 4000 music tracks can be displayed in the music lists. If needed, navigate through folders to find additional tracks.
What should I do if my computer cannot detect the MP3 Player?
If your computer cannot detect the MP3 Player, update your USB driver to version 2.0 or try using another cable. If the issue persists, contact Oilsky Technical Support for assistance.
How can I better organize my music or audio files?
To sort your music or audio files effectively, create folders on your PC/Mac and transfer files into these folders for better organization. You can then play music directly from these folders on your MP3 player.

Charge the Player

Use 5V 1A Charger
Use only the 5V 1A charger for charging or it may lead to product failure. After fully charged, disconnect the cable from your device by pulling it straight outward. -
Charge by Computer
Connect the device to a running computer via the included charging cable.
Note: If not used for a long time, you are supposed to charge the battery at least once every 2 months.
Quick Guide
Power on, off
Hold the power button for about 3s to turn the player on. Repeat to turn it
off.
One button returning to music playing interface
On any other interface, press this button to get back to the music playing
interface.
Return
While on playing interface, Press the button to exit.
Volume Adjustment
Click the button +/- on the right side to increase/decrease the volume.
Data Transfer
Using the supplied charging cable, connect your computer and copy over media
files as if it was a flash driver or use music management software such as
Windows Media Player to transfer the files (not work for iTunes).

Press the button with “Music” on the main interface to access its function, then press button to choose each function including All songs, Now Playing/Last played, Artists, Albums, Genres, Playlists, and Update Playlist.

Steps to set A-B Repeat mode
- On the music playing interface, press the button > Select Play mode > Repeat settings > Repeat mode. Letter A now starts flashing on the bottom of the screen.
- Press the button to choose the start position, Now letter B starts flashing, press the button and letter B stop flashing. Now AB repeat mode set successfully. And the player will only play the sound you just set until you press the button again to cancel the repeat mode and resume normal playback.
Attention:
- ONLY 4000 music tracks can be displayed in the music lists, please go to the folders to find the complete tracks.
- If your computer cannot detect the MP3 Player, please update your USB driver to 2.0 version or try another cable. If still won’t work please get in touch with Oilsky Technical Support for help. (See cover)
- To better sort your music or audio we recommend you create some folders on your PC/Mac to sort them instead of the 3 default playlists. After it’s done. Play music from “ Folder ”.
Bluetooth
How to pair M7 with Bluetooth speaker or Bluetooth headset?
- Turn on the Bluetooth speaker or Bluetooth headset and turn on the bluetooth mode.
- Turn on the Bluetooth mode of M7, then choose “searching for device” to find available Bluetooth device around.
- Go “Device List” and choose the Bluetooth device you want to pair, press the button to confirm to pair.
- Once the bluetooth connection is done, you will find a green Blutooth icon on the screen.
Attention:
- The M7 cannot pair with Smart Phones.
- Must select Bluetooth to reconnect with your Bluetooth device if you turned off the MP3 Player last time.
- If you have connected your Bluetooth earphone with your mobile phone , please disconnect them before pairing with the M7, or the connection would be a failure.
- When listen to radio by Bluetooth, wired headphones are needed as radio antenna
FM Radio
Press the button with “ FM radio ” on the main interface to access to the radio playing interface, press to its sub menu:
Steps to start FM radio recording:
- On the radio playing interface, press the button and choose “ Start FM radio recording, press the button enter to the recording interface, press the button to exit and confirm whether to save the recording or not.
- On radio playing interface, press the button and choose “FM recording file” to select each file to play as you wish.
Steps to select different FM band:
On the radio playing interface, press the button and choose “ Tuner Region ”
to set each FM band as you wish: Common Band:87.0 MHZ ~ 108.0 MHZ
European Band:87.0 MHZ ~ 108.0 MHZ
Japan Band:76 MHZ ~ 90 MHZ
Attention:
- Wired headphones are required as antenna for FM radio function.
- Plug in wired headphones when play FM radio in Bluetooth Mode.

Press the button with “Recorder” on the main interface, then press buttons to select each function.

How to record from Line-in?
- Connect the mp3 player with smartphone or audio device by a 3.5 mm AUX cable
- Select Recorder > Record from > Line in
- Press the button to go back, then select Start voice recording
- After saved the file, you can play it from Recording library.
Settings
- Press the button with “Settings” on the main interface, then choose or set each function here. Points need to know below:
Sleep timer:
1 to 99 Minutes: Regardless of whether it is operated or not, the machine
auto-shutdown when the time reaches the specified time you set. Press the
button to save the setting.
Power management:
1 to 99 Minutes: No music being played, the machine automatically shut down
when there is no operation in the time you set. Press the button to save the
setting.
Date and time:
Time settings: Set the time format you want (12-hours / 24-hours). Press the
button to save the settings.
Date settings: Set the date format you want ( MM DD YYYY) etc. Press the
button to save the settings.
Format device:
Before you choose to format the device, please remember to back up all your
files, otherwise, you will no longer get them back.
Folder
MP3 and micro SD card’s memory will be sorted by edit time, the first file be
dropped in will be listed at the top.
If you renamed the file or do some other modifications, the file goes to the
bottom of the list. This trick only works for “Folder” , not “Music” .
Ways to sort audio in alphabetic order.
- Prepare your audio book files on PC/MAC.
- Make sure these files are in correct order by file name. Such as “01 xxx”, “02 xxx”…”50 xxx”.
- Now plug in your mp3 player and ready to transfer.
- Create a folder in mp3 player and name it as you wish.
- Select all audio files and do not copy or cut.(Important)
- When all files are being selected, move your mouse above the first audio file (ie “01 xxx”) and then right click and copy. (Important)
- Paste these files to your mp3 player folder, make sure all files are pasted in right order. Otherwise delete them all and redo step 5.
- Unplug the mp3 player, and go to the folder with files, they should be in correct order.

Support and Troubleshooting
Q: How to transfer music to the mp3 player?
A: Download music to your computer first, and then connect mp3 player with
your computer thru charging cable. A new disk will pop on as flash driver, and
drop all your musics to the disk. You can create folders in the disk to sort
your music.
Q: Why my computer can’t recognize the MP3 player?
A: Oilsky Mp3 Player can be paired with latest USB driver for all computer
system. Please update your USB driver to 2.0 version before connecting the MP3
player or try another charging cable. If you still cannot connect the player
to your computer, please contact Oilsky customer service for further help (see
cover).
Q: How to insert the SD card into the card slot successfully?
A: Push it in with your fingernail tip till you hear a “Click! “, Push
again and the card will pop back out of the SD card slot.
