Design & Installation

The Aeon Series Optional LED Backlight Kit is designed for use with the specified screen models. Ensure the screen is placed on a flat surface and centered for optimal viewing.

Installation Steps

1. Identify the screen model you have.
2. Set up the screen on a flat surface, ensuring it is centered.
3. If using the LED Backlight Kit, follow the kit’s installation instructions.
4. For cleaning, use mild soap and water on the screen surface if needed.

The Aeon Series is a fixed frame projection screen that uses Elite’s EDGE FREE® technology. EDGE FREE® means that there is no external framework (edge) bordering the material as seen in traditional frame-screens. The design utilizes an internal frame with wrap-around material that resembles a giant- size flat-panel display. The Aeon includes a black velvet trim edge strip as an option to further enhance the overall appearance.

Front Projection Screen Material Options

• CineWhite® UHD-B (tension matte white) – ISF-certified material for achieving accurate color reproduction and image fidelity. It is black-backed which eliminates light penetration. Gain 1.3/180º viewing angle. Recommended for environments with controlled lighting.
• CineGrey (high contrast grey) – It enhances black levels and color contrast while maintaining a neutral color temperature. Gain 1.0/160º viewing angle. Recommended for environments with controlled lighting.
• CineGrey 3D® (Ambient Light Rejecting) – ISF-certified front projection screen material formulated for environments with minimal control over room lighting. Gain 1.2/90º viewing angle. Recommended for environments with minimal controlled lighting.

• Acoustic Transparent (AcousticPro UHD) models are also available
• Material stretches over a frame for a permanently tight-tensioned flat surface
• Aluminum lightweight split-frame design

It enhances black levels while minimizing loss in color reproduction. The uniform diffusion surface has black-backing to eliminate light penetration and is easily washable with mild soap and water.
