WARNINGS

• The adapter is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
  Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliances.

• Only use the supplied cables with the product and do not use extension cables or modify the existing cables in any way.

• If the Input/Output sockets are not in use, ensure that they are protected from foreign objects entering and possibly causing a short circuit.

• Allow adequate ventilation clearance when being used or transported within a vehicle as to not cause excessive heat build-up. Failure to do so could cause permanent damage to the adapter and/or personal injury.

• Follow the instructions within this instruction manual carefully to not cause harm to yourself or others, particularly when ‘connecting’ and ‘disconnecting’ the plugs.

• Do not expose the adapter to water/rain or dust/dirt while in use.

• Do not expose the adapter to heat or fire.

• Do not use this adapter if it is damaged in any way. Contact Customer Service (details at the front of this instruction sheet) if there is a problem.

• Do not disassemble the adapter under any circumstances.

• Do NOT install permanently.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

This AC Adapter is designed for and shall only be used with the XTM 22L (CFR1020XTM) and 35L (CFR1030XTM) Portable Fridge Freezer models to allow them to be operated from a mains power outlet. Before use, ensure the current rating of your fridge does not exceed the rated output of the AC Adapter and that the mains supply is within the rated input voltage and current of the adapter.

USING THE AC ADAP TER

• Check the adapter and cables for any damage, if any is found do NOT use it and contact Customer Service.
• Securely insert the AC cable plug into the socket of the AC Adapter.
• Securely insert the DC plug into the DC Input Socket on the XTM Portable Fridge Freezer.
• Plug the 3 pin mains plug into a suitable wall outlet – Ensure the wall outlet is switched off before inserting the plug. Route the cables and position the adapter to prevent any damage and allow sufficient clearance to prevent excessive heat build-up during use.
• Turn on the wall outlet switch. Your XTM Portable Fridge Freezer should power up and operate as normal. It is recommended to set the Battery Protection level on the fridge to Low setting when operating it off this AC Adapter.
